Highlights
- La Paz - Depart from La Paz at 7:00 am to the Tiquina Mirador viewpoint, arriving around 9:45 am and catching the ferry to cross the Tiquina crossing.
- Copacabana - Around 12:00 pm, you will arrive in Copacabana and have an hour free before departure at 1:00 pm.
- Isla del Sol - At 1:00 pm, you will board the boat to Isla del Sol arriving around 2:30 pm, and you will be dropped off at Yumami at the south end of the island.
- Isla del Sol - From 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, you will be able to walk around the sun temple Pilkokaina and the coast of Yumani.
- Copacabana - At 3:30 pm. you will go on the boat back to Copacabana from Yumani port. Arriving around 5:00 pm.
You will have about 45 minutes in Copacana to buy some snacks.
- La Paz - Around 5:45 pm, the bus departs from La Paz from the White Anchor. At 7:00 pm, you will go through the Tiquina crossing.
Arriving in La Paz around 10:30 pm.

Great day at Isla del Sol - Luis and Andres were great - really informative and helpful in booking further tours. Everything was made very simple for us, from pickup, luggage storage, lunch, the boat and hike on the island and setting up death road and Uyuni tours.

A lovely day out on Isla del Sol - The tour is very well organized. Though we didn’t get picked up from the hotel as planned. I think it had something to do with a festval in La Paz. Louis our tour guide was super lovely. He explained everything very well, shared information in English and Spanish and was super calm. The driver was very good too. Felt save all the time. It was a very relaxed day out of La Paz. We had a good time and have booked another trip with Bolivia Hop 👍

Spectacular trip to Lake Titicaca - The trip from La Paz to Lake Titicaca was very well organized. The departure times were exact. Our guide Abner, totally committed to the group, has a good command of English and always translated his comments into Spanish. He was patient and looked out for everyone. He answered all the questions, he is a person who masters the subject and provides very good historical and geographical data. We really enjoyed the ride.

Certainly a must take trip. - It was a well organised and thorough day trip to Copacabana and Isla del Sol. Punctual, well informed and helpful, we enjoyed the trip especially in Isla del Sol, where we experienced the Inca feeling and the warmth of the locals..

Nice and friendly - Bolivia - The staffs are really helpful to our concerns when we came to ask them in their La Paz Office. It is not only about the tour we are booking but also for others such as food, where to go in the city,… Really really nice and friendly they are. I will come back to Bolivia, love this place and the people.

Does the job but terrible customer service - Once you booked with them, you’re basically on your own. Had so much anxiety waiting for our pick up in all our rides with them because no one messaged us to confirm the schedule. They give you a wide timeframe like 9-10am and will ask you to “be at the pickup point 30 minutes before the schedule” and then proceeds to pick you up 15 minutes LATER than the maximum pickup time… all without a message.
The buses are also so random, not like the branded one in all their advertisements. In all our rides with them, none was a Bolivia Hop bus. One of the buses even had an issue with airconditioner so we drove feeling warm.
Their “hidden gem stops” are also not hidden gems at all and are part of the usual tours in Bolivia.
We also booked them for Peru (Bolivia Hop and Peru Hop have the same owners) and the experience is the exact same.
They did do their job of getting us to our final destination, but the stress and anxiety is not worth the extra charge at all.

Isla Del Sol sin Sol - Weather was not our side at Isla del Sol. We also had to rush our lunch. A drop at the hotel would be appreciated after such a long day.
