Diamond in the rough - Its a long journey, a lot of time on a bus but some of the scenery is outstanding. Be careful if you’re prone to altitude sickness as parts of the journey must be well over 5000 metres. Copacabana, though not patch on its more famous cousin is a cracking little oasis. I must add we were lucky - the weather was fantastic. I can imagine it could be pretty unpleasant if the weather was bad. The whole experience was made better by our guide an chaperone, the wonderful Cristal, who is an absolute diamond. A nicer person you couldn’t wish to meet.

The Amazing Copacabana - When I have visited Copacabana in Bolivia I had not thought to find something so beautiful. In Copacabana, the community the people were so generous and the Titicaca Lake was so amazing that I had opportunity to enjoy it by boat travel and hike to Calvario Mountain were the view was spectecular. Thank you MAPAMUNDI GO for that beautiful experience!!! :D

My guide was good but for... - My guide was good but for 120 dollars that i paid, you can give me an option to pay more for a better spacr going back. Im 52 kilos and i was sitting for 3 hours in a mini van. I can’t even move. It was horrible! I asked the local lady besides me, how much was her fare. She said 20 pesos( a bit more than3 dollars)ill be more than happy to double or triple the amount if you give me an option.. going there with the bus is mych more relaxing

Avoid it !!! - This tour is a scam !! Private tour ? Transportation was in a shared bus with another 20 people. Boat rides were shared too. We had to wait for everybody at the bus, tours, and boat so the wait was long and painful. Tour started 6.30 Am and We got back to the city about 10.30 Pm. The lunch was included. There were plenty of nice restaurants around the lake , but the one the tour had was very unremarkable and we even had to pay extra for the water or soda we had . Who include a meal without even a liquid? 70 % of the tour was traveling first in bus then in boat with a bunch of people, so we do not have any close contact with the guide and barely get any informations of the sights . Overall, it was not a very interesting tour and if you still want to do it, just pay the half of the price , book a group tour, and in the end it will be the same.

Not really worth it - Title of your tour is very misleading, not really a private tour although description does say shared travel, but we had 50 others with us and constantly kept waiting for them, if we would have known we would have gone in a tour with another operator probably for a cheaper price

Worth seeing the lake and Inca remains as it was nice weather. Would have been a dreadful day if wet. - Beware. This tour is on either “tourist” buses or public transport. The bus up to the lake was fine, but the one back was a city bus, therefore very underpowered. The driver took bends very quickly to try and keep momentum. Be sure to take plenty of your own food and drink for both journeys and not suitable if you can’t go for three hours without a loo stop. Our guide was hopeless. No enthusiasm , more interested in his girlfriend who came with him!
