Wine Dinner to Remember - We arrived through the actual vineyards and not the main gates because we followed google maps. We had 3 courses and 4 wines with very generous pours. Out host Ricardo was knowledgeable about the wine and the local foods. If you are a picky eater this is not for you. This was local Algarve cuisine. Olives, Chicken liver, cod, potatoes, pork and food from the region. For 60 euros we were stuffed and entertained. The wine alone was worth the price.

Wonderful winery dinner in the Algarve. - We just finished having a memorable dinner at Morgado do Quintao. The food and wine were wonderful, and the hospitality of Ricardo and everyone else at the vineyard was top notch. And, the beautiful setting can’t be beat. If you are in the area, I could not recommend this experience more highly. Go!

Fantastic esperience - We loved this!! we were a group of 4, two Irish one American and one Canadian so of varied preferences and tastes, this was outstanding, our host was magnificent, the food was divine, really special evening. The place is interesting and the decor is very original, we loved it, its a great way to learn about wine while experiencing great food and a super opportunity to see a unique part of Portugal. So different than just going for a meal at a restaurant, we highly recommend this unique experience

The best food we’ve had in the Algarve. Highly recommend! - An amazing evening. Beautiful settings with fantastic food and service. We loved hearing their insight into all things wine. The three course meal we had has to be the best we’ve had in the Algarve. Already recommended to family and friends due to visit!

Good dinner + fine wines - Good host who knows a lot about the history of the vineyard. Good (and a lot) dinner with fine wines. Would definitely recommend it to couples for a romantic evening. (Tip: take a taxi)

Vineyard visit leaves a disappointing taste - This was a very disappointing experience. We arrived at the time requested and were ignored though people from the vineyard had seen us. So, we wondered around the vineyard which is lovely until other people arrived. The dinner had to be inside because of the weather but the setting of the large barn-style room was lovely. However, the hospitality of the host was lacking. There was no introduction to other guests so the group could get to know each other a little before sitting down to dinner. No welcome drink. There was a potted history of the vineyard and the wines. The food was ok but the wine pairings didn't work that well and the food courses were whisked away quickly. At no point were we asked if we liked the wines, feedback or given advice on tasting the wines etc. It felt like we were at a party held by a host who didn't really want to be throwing it. This was our last night of our holiday in Portugal and my birthday so sadly a really disappointing end to our lovely week.

Very disappointed - The surrounding of the vineyard was beautiful and the table setting was very nice. However, for €60 per head the main course and dessert were very disappointing- we only got chicken legs and potatoes, and the dessert was burnt. On the wine side, considering we were eating at a vineyard they were extremely cheap on the serving - only three different wines to try and one glass per wine. No option to buy bottles throughout the meal. Dinner also felt very rushed : ate by 7, out by 9. Such a shame as this place is beautiful and has so much potential. We were very excited about this experience but would not go back.
