The Imperial City of Hue was actually a walled fortress and palace belonged to the ancient city of Hue which was a capital city of the Nguyen Dynasty for 140 years date back from 1805 until 1945.

Perfume River - Perfume River or Huong River is around 80 kilometers long, and owes its name to the fact that it flows through many forests of aromatic plants before reaching Hue, bringing with it a pure and fresh aroma.
Mausoleum of Emperor Khai Dinh - Khai Dinh Tomb is a part of the Complex of Hue Monuments, recognized as World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993. In general, Khai Dinh tomb is a rectangular construction with up to 127 steps. Mountains and streams around the tomb not only serve as Feng-Shui elements but also create a majestic natural scenery.
Compared to other tombs in Hue, Khai Dinh tomb is smaller, yet more elaborate and time-consuming.
It is the combination of East-West classic and modern architectures.
Thien Mu Pagoda - Thien Mu Pagoda also known as Heaven Fairy Lady Pagoda - Celestial Lady Pagoda was constructed 1601 which located in the Northern bank of the Perfume river Hue City

Overall it wass a great day - Whlie the bus wasn't the most comfortable (small chair), the rest of the day was fantastic! Our tour guide, Hieu, was incredibly knowledgeable, especially about the Nguyen dynasty. He made the whole experience so interesting, and I learned so much. Lunch was delicious too! Despite the bus, I'd definitely recommend this tour. Hieu's attentiveness, like helping with the steps, made a big difference, and overall it was a great day.
