- Falconeria Locarno - The art of Falconry was introduced to Europe through caravans from Persia and Arabia, where this technique of hunting is still practiced today.
Experience a close encounter with majestic birds of prey at the Falconry in Locarno, where you will be able to observe and photograph eagles, hawks, owls and vultures. These beautiful birds, flying free, will lead you into a dimension where man and nature meet, in a natural and animal friendly place. Enjoy the breathtaking show! Come and visit us any time. We provide sheltered seating, both for the sunny summer days or the few rainy ones!
All opening days, show with birds of prey and Spanish horses of about 1 hour are held at 11am and 3pm. The tribune houses 600 seated guests.

Great experience - It was simply great! For the price you pay it is very good, especially the show itself is brilliant! You get very close to the birds! It was a very nice experience. It is suitable for couples and families!

Great trip to the Falconeria in Locarno - The best excursion in Locarno, which fascinates children and adults alike!
Great concept that was perfectly implemented. It is best to visit the aviaries about an hour before the air show. The highlight is the flight demonstration with many birds of prey, with various interesting explanations in Italian and German.
I would book the entrance ticket directly on site on my next visit, because it didn't work with the credit card despite confirmation. The event is very well organized and there are no queues, even if you pay on site. All the artists are very committed and offer each visitor a special experience that will be remembered. An oasis in the heart of Lugano - Superb park in the heart of Lugano, lush vegetation and tastefully cared for. One-hour show where the various birds of prey are presented with great gentleness, passion and respect. Warm refreshment bar, where delicious dishes are offered at a more than reasonable price!

Entertaining and Informative - This was way better than I expected. Great for kids. The various owls, falcons, eagles, etc. fly right over the audience and there's a lot of information given. Shame there is no English, though. Overall an entertaining hour!

Amazing experience - Amazing experience, highly recommend the show. The only downside is that the show is only in Italian and German nevertheless, it is all worth it. It is a must if you are in Locarno.

Unforgettable experience - It was all very beautiful, the birds gliding right above your head were very suggestive, the birds were well kept, I personally would prefer that all the birds participated during the show, which you can see in the cages, I didn't go to eat at the restaurant so I didn't I can't say anything about that but I can say for sure that if someone comes here, they come for the show because you pay for the ticket only for that, because in my opinion the bird cages are too small for them, but in any case it seemed that the animals they were fine and this is enough for me to say that it is worth visiting the falconry.

What a disappointment... - We, a group of 5 adults, visited the park on September 12th. After the show we wanted to have lunch in the bistro. Unfortunately, the service announced at 12.45 that there was no more pizza. An unbelievable attitude. But we felt that our money was not welcome. It was a shame because the other dishes, especially the fish dishes, that were still available were from the freezer. We then moved on to a restaurant around the corner where we were very welcome. The park says that it is wheelchair accessible. But after a short walk there is a large incline that you cannot simply master. The owners should get themselves into a wheelchair and drive the path themselves. A normal wheelchair simply tips over on its back on the incline.
