Great time in the Colombian rainforest - We were on this trek with Magaly, Tyson and Alejandra from Magic Tour Colombia. It was exhausting at times, but worth every drop of sweat. I would do this hike again in this constellation at any time. The food was fantastic and the accommodations were equipped with everything we needed - sometimes the equipment was even more than I expected. Magaly led us confidently through the 4 days - both historically and physically - and Tyson translated everything so that we could understand it, while my respect goes to Alejandra - our cook - as she always had to be ahead of us, even though the kitchen still had to be cleaned up. All three tried to accommodate all of our wishes - especially in terms of food. During high season, make sure you book in advance, because the weather in the rainforest is not really predictable anyway.

Worth it! - We booked the tour with travesia because we got from the beginning a great response from them. We had 4 amazing days and hat the best tour guides. Mr Wilson is working for more than 30 years on this tour and he has so much knowledge about how it changed and about the indigenous people. Sleeping in the camps was very good and the Moskito nets are proper ones ;) also the was always plenty of food and we got served very well. It was a hard hike from time to time but the guides were helping out and motivated us wherever they could. Definitely recommend to book a tour with them.

Incredible experience - The excursion at Ciudad Perdida is something you'll never forget, in all senses. Tough but amazing. The guide Jose Garcia is simply special he will make your experience unforgettable, is capable to create great empathy in the group. The staff all is great and well organized. Joy and positive vibes are guaranteed. Food and drinks are abundant and really tasty. Just one recommendation, don't forget to bring with you some cash to buy extra drinks and food that you can get at any break point, but more importantly the cash to tip the guide and the staff all. They deserve that much that you'll feel bad in case you'll run out of money at the end of your excursion like in my case!!

Unforgettable - Seeing the self-sufficient indigenous communities was definitely a highlight! The deeper you go into the park itself and the closer you get to Ciudad perdida, the scenery, as well as the indigenous communities, change. An unforgettable experience.
