Lovely rainy day in Lugano and Morcote - Giogorio was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable, kind and funny. The Lugano and Morcote areas are gorgeous. We especially loved Morcote, it’s a beautiful village and photos do not do it justice.

Wonderful tour of Morcote and Parco Scherrer - Giorgio Ghidotti gave us a wonderful guided tour of Lugano, Morcote, and Parco Scherrer. He was very knowledgable of the area, explained the many things we saw in Lugano, and afterwards took us for a comfortable ride down to the extremely picturesque town of Morcote. This town was named one of the most beautiful in Switzerland in 2016. And the highlight of Morcote was visiting Parco Scherrer. Textile merchant and art amateur Hermann Arthur Scherrer purchased the house and a hectare of land on a hill in Morcote. Following years of work, the hillside and terraces were slowly covered in cypresses, camellias, camphor tress, eucalyptuses, cedars, palm trees and bamboo woods – exotic and oriental plants that Scherrer had admired. And even more amazing are the architectural and artistic works such as a Siamese tea house, an Egyptian temple and Greek sculptures. Not only was this a beautiful visit, but Giorgio was great in helping us navigate the rock steps up the back of Parco Scherrer to a beautiful little church and then a short walk to where he picked us up in the car to take us back to our Lugano hotel. All in all, this was a wonderful trip, made even more special by Giorgio's kindness, generosity and assistance in showing us this beautiful place. A tour with Giorgio as your guide is extremely highly recommended.

Lugano & Morcote in 4 hours - We visited many historical areas in Lugana and Morcote, most of which you would never know where there by just walking around. There were many beautiful churches and painting that were hundreds of years old.

Highlight of my Swiss experience! - This was the best private guided tour I had while on a visit to Switzerland. I particularly liked the frescos inside the Chiesa di San Maria del Sasso, the magnificent views of the Lugano lake from this church, where I took many images to capture the memorable moments. I also enjoyed a walk in a park Ciani in Lugano, where again, the views of the lake were breath-taking! Giorgio is an amazing tour guide and I highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like to get to know the treasures of Lugano and Morcote and experience the best sights in Switzerland.

Tour Guide Giorgio the Great! - My wife and I (in or early 50s) enjoyed this 4 hour tour of Lugano and Morcote a lot and Giorgio, our tour guide, even more. Beautiful views. Would not advise for anyone where walking a lot or climbing is a challenge. But, if no issues there, you will love this tour and Giorgio.
