Amazing cruise, good ship, good cabins, awesome gift shop & massage room onboard - We had the most amazing time on our Egypt tour on the M/S TU YA. Nile seafood, wood paneled cabins, very nice staff, everything in the cabin in working order, the most awesome massage by Emmy and some great buys from Tony at the gift shop. No diesel smell no rocking motion nothing. Just our ship heading quietly up the legendary blue Nile. BLISS

GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH EXPLORA TRAVELER - *From December 29 to January 5, through the El Corte Ingles travel agency, I took a trip to Egypt (Egypt all-inclusive Premium category) together with my family. *In relation to the organization of the trip, it has been good. I have had the feeling that I have made good use of my time. Furthermore, our guide Mohamed Reda has made it possible to include some off-program visits in which we had special interest, such as the Museum of Civilizations in Cairo. As points of improvement, the time spent visiting the temples would increase. *In relation to the Cruise and the hotel in Cairo, my rating is very good, both for the service staff, the cleanliness, and the food. *Finally, in relation to our guide, I have to say that we have been lucky to have as a guide a person who has been able to transmit to us the culture, history and life in Egypt. He has been attentive to our needs at meal times, during visits, on New Year's Eve, when a setback has arisen, on the day of our optional excursion to Alexandria, etc. For example, when he took care of telling the restaurant to give us a good table and have a hot dinner for us, or when if a group larger than us could bother us during a visit, he told his guide to speak more quietly, or when He accompanied us on New Year's Eve and recorded the moment of the grapes, or when to go to the temple of Edfu, as our group did not have an assigned bus, he arranged a bus for us because the tuctuc and the buggies did not seem safe, or when there was There was a delay in taking us to the hotel in Cairo and I showed my discomfort. The next day he asked me why I had gotten angry because it was a service that did not correspond to him. Reda has been a great guide as well as fantastic support on our trip, which is why I rate his work as very good.

Bad experience with EXPLORA TRAVELER - Good afternoon, on January 5th I returned from an all-inclusive Premium category trip to Egypt that I started with my family (we were 4 adults) on December 29th. First of all, say that the place IS WONDERFUL. We are people who really like to travel and I insist that the place is fabulous, but not the organizing agency EXPLORA TRAVELER. I share this experience in case it helps other travelers, just as they help me. * To begin with, this company does not specify the schedules in the program. They inform you as they go. *Upon our arrival at Aswan airport, our guide was not there. We arrived at the boat after 9 p.m. with the assistance of another guide who included us in his group. We had dinner and finally, after dinner and after waiting a while longer in a room on the ship, our guide arrived. In the meeting we had with him he informed us that two or so hours later we would wake up for the first visit of the trip to Abu Simbel. It is true that it was an optional visit but at no time were we informed that we would not be able to sleep that night. How can they organize a charter that arrives at those times to start an excursion at 2:30 am? The day was, as expected, exhausting. We knew from the beginning that the trip would be exhausting, but starting it like this made us carry the fatigue that accompanied us the entire trip. *Unfortunately our guide was not up to the task. An arrogant person, with a lack of desire to work and get involved, he had friction with other guides, with tourists, with the crew and some disrespectful responses to some people in the group. He seemed to be permanently angry. The group was very easy to get along with, there was no one unpunctual or impertinent, we all did our part so that this person would not spoil our trip. There were other details from the guide that I prefer to omit, I could say much more. We were so dissatisfied that on the day off we preferred to get rid of it, we decided not to do the excursion to Alexandria. It was a wonderful idea. For the visit to the Museum of Civilizations in Cairo, if it had not been because I had informed myself on the internet, we would have arrived late to be able to buy the tickets. I had to tell the guide that we had to leave because otherwise we wouldn't be able to enter. From there, run. Certainly the coordinator at some point asked about our guide, we did not want to say anything because the options could have been worse, such as being merged with the large groups, something that all of us in the group were fleeing from. However, he could not see any enthusiasm when rating the guide. * On the visit to Edfu after getting up early and racing, we had to wait 20 minutes at the door of the boat for some means of transportation to arrive to get to the temple. The rest of the groups passed in front of us. Obviously, if we wanted to arrive at dawn, it was not achieved. When we arrived the line was endless. *The Renassence hotel in Cairo, like the Blue Shadow II ship, were very good but the hotel had a horrible location, 40 minutes from somewhere interesting. In fact, the dinner that the program included in Cairo (not the one on the night in Cairo) so that it was close to the hotel, was reserved in a cold place in the middle of nowhere, we would have preferred to have stayed somewhere in Cairo with an atmosphere and having dinner on our own or even staying at the hotel and enjoying some of the activities it offered. *The coordinator who had to pick us up at the Luxor airport arrived in very bad condition, another guide had to take charge of our group. We feel neglected. It is a very expensive trip on those dates for 4 people who I asked to book with you through my trusted agency because it seemed to me that they gave a guarantee of quality and that was not the case. Very dissatisfied with the trip. Luckily, fate itself makes up for it.
