Dioramas Bring the Seerah to Life - You can read the books and watch the videos, but nothing beats hand made dioramas of the life of our Nabi ï·º with a knowledgeable and kind guide. Quite different from the high tech version at the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization in the Haraam, but truly worth the trip out. Easily accessible by Uber.

Don’t skip this place when in Madinah! - A must visit place in Madinah. The entrance fee is SAR25 (I went in May 2023). It’s a small museum that provides tour guide who explains (you can choose in Arabic, English or Urdu) mainly the history of Madinah and the Prophet’s hijrah to Madinah in approx. 45mins tour. The museum uses scale models that take you through the history, including models of the Prophet’s house, Al Masjid Al Nabawi, the hijrah route used by the Prophet and many more. It’s just an incredible place and more importantly, the knowledge you gain about the Prophet and the history of Madinah through the excellent tour guides is beyond precious.

Not a good experience - Do not waste time and money. Museum is closed due to construction although website shows that it is open. No proper guidance by government for visiting places.

False information on website - False information on website about opening hours. We spent enough money to hire a taxi to take our two young children to visit this place as the reviews looked good. We checked their website, google maps, reviews etc and were told it was open till 6pm. Upon arrival, it was closed with no one around. Clearly there was construction and building going on but it’s a shame people wasting money got a return journey from medina (more than 100SAR) to go and find the place closed. Really disappointing and a wasted journey in the scorching heat with children.
