Fabulous day trip - My husband and I had such a fabulous day on our tour today to Melaka. Our guide Jacob was absolutely top notch and so informative. His English was excellent and we had fun with him helping me with my Bahasa. Our lunch was great and Jacob went out of his way to make sure my dietary requirements were met. We learnt so much today and would love to come back and do another tour with Jacob. The car was very clean and Jacobs driving skills were excellent. Highly recommended

We love Malacca - We had a wonderful day trip from KL to Malacca with our guide Vera. He was knowledgeable and cooperative. He explained the history of Malacca in the Malacca Museum and made the tour a memorable experience for us. He also took us to the Mosque of the Malacca Straight. Would not hesitate to recommend this private tour to those who have limited time in KL.

A relaxed way to explore the highlights of Malacca - This was such a great way to see Malacca in a single day. Our guide, Jay, was fantastic. He was very organised and really friendly. We were picked up from our hotel in a comfortable air conditioned car. Once we arrived in Malacca Jay explained to us the rickshaw ride we were going to take and where to meet him afterwards. He happily took photos for us and was very informative about the area. After the ride, Jay then took us to see the different temples nearby, and then we explored Jonker St. We felt like we could go at our own pace and really soak up the local atmosphere. We had a delicious lunch and picked up some sweets before making our way back to KL. We really enjoyed the day!

Malacca, More Than a Day Trip - This was a great tour as two families travelling together we could go in one vehicle. Our guide, Susan, was well versed in the history of Malacca and other regions and spoke fluent English. She was so engaging and was happy to answer any question from our kids and pointing out interesting things like rubber plantations, local businesses or the history of a region or sultanate. Malacca was fantastic, the old town really did take us back in time and it had unique shops we had not seen anywhere else in Malaysia. The contrast of the old town no longer being on the coast, as there was so much reclaiming of land, and what was once a port area surrounded by modernity was surreal. We did have some timing issues which made it feel like we didn't get as much time in the shops and exploring on foot like we normally would. We spent a significant amount of time in the museum (far more than we needed to), waiting for Trishaws, and waiting for our meal at the recommended restaurant (over 45 minutes). This meant we were left with just 30 minutes exploring time which was nowhere near enough. You need hours in this amazing place. Also, because the tour needed to be back in Kuala Lumpur before rush hour, we never got to see this vibrant place at night, which we really should have done. This was probably the lowlight, walking away feeling like we didn't get to see everything, didn't stay long enough or just didn't get a chance to walk around and explore. Regretting not staying long enough is the highest praise for a destination, we just couldn't get enough of Malacca.
