Ouzoud translates to ‘the process of milling grain’ in the Berber language, which is evident from the large number of mills found in the area. You can reach the base of the falls by way of a path lined with olive trees providing a cool shade. There remain about a dozen of old little mills at the top of the falls, which are still operational to this day.
