Fantastic day - We had a fantastic day with everything really well organized to perfection. Perfect explanation of all the places visited thanks to our tour guide Sonia and attentive driver Filippo.

Wonderful Tour - My family and I had a wonderful time on this tour. I loved how we had our own van instead of a huge bus waiting for everyone else. It was nice to have a more personal tour. Cannot recommend enough!! - This was such an amazing day & experience! The shops we are brought to are so beautiful. Sonia is so delightful and knowledgeable, she goes above and beyond to ensure we had the best day. The bus was prompt, air conditioned and comfortable for everyone. Sonia even was kind enough to walk with us after the tour into Messina to show us a delicious restaurant to eat at afterwards! Highly recommend this excursion, it was such a beautiful day of sightseeing, shopping and eating!

A tour you will never forget - Filippo and Sonya are the best tour guides ever. The took us to all the spots promised with time to even explore on our own. They were so much fun to be with as well as so full of information. We were taken to a lovely restaurant with a breathtaking view of Mt Etna and the sea. The food was fabulous! Best you're guide ever. - Filippo was by far and large part of the best part of our trip to Sicily. His knowledge and enthusiasm was very welcoming. His passion for what he does guiding people around the countryside very evident. I would definitely highly recommend anybody and everybody to choose Filippo for a personal tour guide. If you're looking for long-lasting memories of an amazing time, sites and scenery then you should choose Filippo. This was the second time our family had chosen Filippo, and once again we were not disappointed.

Enjoy an afternoon with a bubbly local tour duo! - Terrific time exploring Sicily with two lovely guides who spoke perfect English and knew lots of facts about the region and culture. We toured the famous godfather film sites and had a beautiful afternoon in Taormina, despite some rainy weather. Our driver was skilled and knew how to navigate the tricky roads and small towns well. It is a beautiful area and you cannot go wrong with anything you try here, but recommend the drive to Savoca and taking time to take in the beauty of Taormina, including special locale from the White Lotus. We had an amazing afternoon Highly recommend this tour. Plenty of time for sightseeing and plenty of food - be prepared to eat well in Sicily! This is a great tour for the afternoon to learn about the cities from a passionate local guide who is excited to teach you more about this unique region. You will get familiar with the city and have plenty of time to roam the streets for shopping and see the famous views. Cannot recommend this enough! AMAZING day in Sicily!! - Our day in Sicily with Sonya couldn’t have been better! My husband and I both have limited mobility and she tailored the tour to our abilities. We saw everything, learned so much and had a wonderful time. We had the opportunity to sample some local specialties and banter with the shop owners. When we went back to our ship at the end of the day we were sad to leave our new Sicilian friends. We will always remember the amazing day we had with Sonya. It truly was the BEST excursion we’ve had in all of our travels!

Perfect Private Tour - I strongly recommend this tour. We were picked up from out ship in Messina and toured Taormina and Castlemora. Our guides suggested a wonderful local restaurant for our lunch. It rained all day, but when we talk about our tour somehow we never mention the rain. What could be more perfect!

A tour around Messina / Sicily with Sicily Best Tours - We had a perfect private tour around Sicily / Messina / Taormina with Sicily Best Tours booked through Viator. Lillo (our local driver) met us right at the cruise port terminal a drove us first out to Savoca where we had lovely views from the hillside where they shot scenes from "The Godfather" in 1972 at Bar Vitelli. He shared some delicious local pastries he bought us before we toured the small town and the church of Santa Lucia. Lillo then drove us out to Castlemola where we had the very unique experience of tasting almond wine and enjoyed one of the best scenic views of Mt Etna. He then dropped us off in an area where we could stroll for shopping and stop for lunch in the Taormina center. We ended the day at the Cathedral of Messina with the iconic astronomical clock tower connected to a beautiful church. Lillo was so friendly and welcoming, giving us plenty of local history peppered with lots of humor. The day was filled with beautiful sites, overlooks, lots of laughs and memories made. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to get just a taste of the beauty Sicily has to offer.
