Highlights
  • 1991 NE 135th St - I’ll provide a quick rundown on the essentials of stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking before we venture onto the water to navigate through a verdant mangrove forest. As we meander through the serpentine waterways, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for a variety of wildlife such as manatees, iguanas, birds, crabs, fish, raccoons, and perhaps even dolphins. We’ll take in the splendor of the local ecosystem for a bit before pausing to unwind, swim, and savor some tasty fresh fruit snacks and beverages, including watermelon, cantaloupe, and bananas. Beverages are on the house and unlimited; enjoy beer, hard seltzers, and water. Once everyone is refreshed and ready, we’ll make our way back to land. We’re in no hurry, so take your time. Remember, the manatees and dolphins we hope to see are free-roaming wild creatures with a vast territory. They tend to be less visible during the summer. But fret not, there will still be plenty of magnificent flora and fauna to observe and discover.
    Other things to note
Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a towel, a swimsuit, a camera, snorkeling equipment if you wish, a waterproof pouch or case for your phone, and an upbeat mindset. The rendezvous point is the blue marlin fish house.

Additional Information

I’m going to provide a succinct tutorial on the fundamentals of paddleboarding and kayaking, after which we’ll venture onto the water to uncover a verdant mangrove jungle. We’ll navigate through slim channels, keeping an eye out for a variety of wildlife such as; manatees, iguanas, birds, crabs, fish, raccoons, and perhaps even dolphins. We’ll discover the area’s natural beauty for a few hours before heading into some mangrove tunnels to chill, swim, and partake in a tasty snack of fresh fruit and beverages. The fruit selection will include; watermelon, cantaloupe, and bananas. The drinks are all-inclusive and unlimited; you can enjoy beer, hard seltzers, and water. Once we’ve had our fill and everyone is set, we will make our way back to the shore. There’s never a rush. Be cognizant that the manatees and dolphins we are hoping to spot are free-ranging wild creatures. They tend to be less visible during the summer months. However, rest assured that there will still be an abundance of stunning flora and fauna to appreciate and learn about.

The Raccoon Island tour is awesome!! - Kayak through the mangroves, a bucket list experience. Feed and water raccoons. Explore a secret lagoon and do some easy beginner friendly snorkeling to find some starfish. The best tour we took on our trip to Miami!!

Kyaking tour with Sean - Sean was an amazing tour guide. He’s a very relaxed tour guide and it was quite fun. The tour itself is visiting islands and kyaking along the Miami Ocean. Highly recommend doing this!!

Natural side of Miami - Wonderful experience with Tanny (spelling?). Visited 3 different islands. Guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Water shoes are recommended as you do explore the islands which are a bit rocky. If I were to do this again, I would choose the morning slot. In the afternoon the tide was low and some areas were inaccessible. Overall, a fun way to explore the more natural side of Miami!
