Marangu - After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your guide then have a one-hour drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park Marangu Gate, register and commence the climb by walking through the rainforest to the Mandara encampment. A side trip to Maundi Crater is a good way to see the surroundings including Northern Tanzania and Kenya. In the lush rainforest, don’t forget to look for towering Eucalyptus trees, birdlife, Colobus monkeys and many more! Mandara Hut will be your final point where you enjoy a stunning panorama of the Kilimanjaro region’s landscapes and where you enjoy your lunch in nature. After lunchtime, you will hike back to the park gate and return to peaceful Moshi town.

These brief treks are designed for hiking enthusiasts who do not necessarily aim to reach the summit, but still yearn for the thrill of ascending Africa’s highest peak. Please note, all hikes within the Tanzania National Park mandate the presence of licensed guides. Currently, only the Marangu, Shira, and Machame Routes offer short treks.

Amazing tour and team! - I was looking for a 1 day tour and came across this. Customer service was amazing. From the time I booked the tour to going on the tour.
Although it rained during the time I went, the guys made it work! I hiked the Marangu route with one of the guys and it was beautiful passing through the waterfalls, flowers, etc. I was given the history as we were walking passed certain points. When we got to the end, we had lunch to enjoy. Good comfort food.
The guys are awesome and made everything so fun! A very nice and humble group. They made sure I was good the whole time which was very appreciated. Highly recommend!
