Relaxing and Insightful Walking Tour Learning History and Culture - So, we didn’t get tickets to see the fortress on the hill but this was probably a godsend since my family (teenagers included) enjoyed learning about Nafplion’s history from Gina. We learned about cultures, some political events and decisions, the significance of certain places, buildings; the art in the beautiful churches or outdoor walls/gates; some naval history… and then we had a wonderful culinary experience learning about how local cheeses differ/are made, how traditional desserts and meats are made, and traditional oils and beverages. The ambience was relaxed and positive. I felt enlightened. I would go back to Nafplion to hang out with Gina and learn more about why the locals are so proud of such a historically rich city.

Best Nafplion Walking Tour - We were met by our guide Gina and joined a group of other people from our ship. The tour was amazing and we had a great time exploring Nafplio and learning how it affected Greek history. At the end of the walking part of the tour we went to a deli called Anapliotiko which was a highlight of our holiday where we sampled complementary locally produced cheeses and meats and were not under any pressure to make purchases. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone visiting this area as Gina was probably the best guide we have ever met on a tour.

Highly recommended !! - My husband and I were greeted at our hotel by Gina who walked us around the small city of Nafplio telling stories from the past and present. Being a local resident herself, Gina conveyed her love and appreciation for local history, architecture, and customs. The tour ended at the local deli store where the owner of the store treated us with the local delicacies and his family's stories who was farming food about Nafplio for centuries. Highly recommended and entertaining tour!

Wonderful day In Nafplion - Gina was a fantastic ambassador to lovely sea side village Nafplion. She was lovely and fun person, very insightful of local history, great details on local architecture, and the food (cheese, wine, gelato and espresso). She also took us up to visit “the hotel” inside one of the forts via a defunct but lobby and elevator. She showed us a wonderful beach to swim at later. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with her! Say hello to Queen Gina for us!

Fantastic leisurely walking tour with a personable guide - We were the only ones on this tour so it turned into a private tour. Sophie was very knowledgeable about both Nafplion and Greek history generally. We had a coffee and loukoumades at the end of the walk and enjoyed a great conversation about the things that interested both us and the guide. Great tour.
