A definite must if you are in Nairobi! - I was fetched by Stephen on the morning of the tour. He was warm and friendly. We fetched another guest and then headed to the Giraffe centre. We learned about the reason for its existence and information about the Rothschild giraffes. We were able to interact and feed the giraffes who wander across from the neighboring conservancy. Then we headed to the Elephant orphanage, where we were given an informative talk about the incredible work they do - rescuing, caring for and releasing the orphans. We watched a morning feed and were able to experience the babies, up close. The Bead factory was a wonderful opportunity to see what opportunity can give people who otherwise would have slim prospects of supporting themselves and their families. The work is of high quality and the shop had a great selection of belts, bags and beads. I had a truly memorable experience in Nairobi. I would highly recommend this tour. Stephen was a great guide and answered all our questions. He allowed us time to wander around after the visits to look at the incredible work that was available to buy. Just go!

Loved those orphan elephants - Meshack did a great job getting us to all the venues on time with a lot of time for shopping. He was very informative and we had a great day. The giraffe park and elephant orphanage were the highlights.

A feel good experience! - The orphanage is saving many young elephants. It was such fun to watch them run to the Feeding Area, where they received their giant bottles of milk. These animals are clearly happy, healthy, and feel very safe. Without the shelter, many young elephants would perish. Our visit was heartwarming and certainly worth the time. Make your reservations early since the number of visitors is limited. Or, book through one of the tour operators who have blocks of tickets available. We left with a big smile on our face!

Exceptional Tour! 😊 - Wellington was an amazing and kind tour guide. I went on several tours while in Nairobi and all of my guides were good but Wellington stood out among them. He took good care of me, provided updates on next steps, and even took photographs of me while on tour. I am extremely pleased with him. I wanted so much to see the giraffes and the baby elephants. This tour was phenomenal!!

Once in a life time - Everything about this tour was amazing. My driver, Titus, communicated with me the morning of and confirmed pick up time. He arrived on time! He drove our small group in the van safely. At the giraffe center, we were the first ones to arrive. It wasn’t busy so there were great opportunities for pictures! The elephant orphanage was nice and the bead center was inspiring. Buying beads goes to a great cause for Kenyan women who are widowed/single. Thank you Titus and hope to join you again in the future. Highly recommend!

Very nice tour company, I recommend it - Nice tour, driver was friendly, and the tour itself was very good. I was afraid to have only 1 hour to do the Giraffes, but to be honest, 1h is more than enough, it's amazing but it's very small with just a few Giraffes to feed. However it could be better to notice the customer 1 day earlier the exact pick up time: - Since I booked weeks ago, it's good to "break up the silence" and make customers sure the company will really do the tour. - I asked the day before for the confirmation via Viator platform, they didn't answer here - Hopefully I was 15min. earlier waiting for the tour, and then in a minute the driver already arrived - The next passengers in another hotel booked for 8h30 (at least they stated that to me), and we arrived there at 8h00. Luckily, they were already prepared, so we delayed only 10 minutes (apart this delay not being a problem, since we still had to wait 30 minutes in a souvenir shop since the Giraffe center opens only at 9h00).

Highlights of Nairobi - Fantastic day trip and a great experience with Meshack! He took very good care of our group. He got us everywhere on time and was very knowledgeable about Kenya. He was even able to get us into the Sheldrick, which is becoming more difficult these days.

Disappointed by the tour operator - I had booked this tour weeks beforehand and was so excited to be going to visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. I received an email on the morning I was expecting to be picked up, cancelling my tour. This was the number one reason I was coming to Nairobi and to be let down at the last minute by the tour operator was just so disappointing. I was then left not able to make any plans for the day and had a wasted day in Nairobi.
