The Kachi Kachi Ropeway ascends to an observation point near the summit of Mount Tenjo, from where Lake Kawaguchiko and Mount Fuji can be seen.
There is also many Hot spring available in the area where you can calm yourself. - Oishi Park - Oishi Park is a public park located on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchi. From the park you can enjoy a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. The park features a 350m walking path with many flowers planted along it; from early April to Late May the moss phlox flowers spread out like a pink carpet, from late June into late July the gorgeous lavender plants bloom, and from mid to late-October the kokia shrubs show their beautiful red autumn colors. The contrast between the various flowers and Mt. Fuji is spectacular.
The park is also home to the Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center where you can enjoy making fruit jam and an all-you-can eat cherry & blueberry picking course. They also feature a café where you can try specialty made blueberry ice cream.
- Oshino Hakkai - A small village which is a famous tourists attraction due to the presence of 8 ponds; the fresh water from Mt fuji come down in whose ponds. Also famous for the vendors of foods and souvenirs.

Worth the extra $$ - Beautiful scenery, including Mt Fuji.
Spectacular views of the mountains, lakes and several other attractions. We were able to move at our own pace, avoid the crowds and customize aspects of our trip due to the private booking. Plus, transportation was door to door and eliminated stress and headaches. Well worth the extra money. Zaedon our guide was educated and funny and spoke excellent English.

Great Day Tour of Mt Fuji - From the pick up time at our hotel until drop off at the end of the tour at our hotel this was a good experience. The driver was very professional and knowledgeable of all the places and sites we visited. He knew the best places to visit and to view Mt. Fuji for great photo opportunities. We really enjoyed this experience and would do it again.

Great day at Yamanashi - Great day with Azu tours.
Our driver Sakib was fantastic and very knowledgeable. He had good knowledge about the heritage sites and road conditions. We stopped at service stops on the highway so we were comfortable all the way. The van was clean comfortable with leg rest.

Mt Fuji was amazing and... - Mt Fuji was amazing and would recommend the trip but unfortunately our driver/guide really only functioned as a driver. He offered absolutely no information about the sites background history etc.

Look at alternatives to this private tour - We specifically booked this tour to be able to see all that was listed as included in the tour, however this was not our experience.
From the start we were under the impression the tour would pick you up from your hotel, not the case. So after travelling to the meeting point the driver then was late as he too seemed confused regarding the location. The weather was awesome which meant we got to the 5th station. However after having lunch at Lake Kawaguchi, followed by a stroll in Oshino Park, we got to view the Chureito Pagoda. However due to the traffic our driver then said we needed to head back into Tokyo and if we wanted to see anything else that would be overtime and chargeable (so no Oshino Hakkai or Gotemba Outlets). Then after 9 hours we were returned home (despite tour stating approx. 10 hours).
We have done many a tour in the past, where guides/tours have made sure you got to see everything that was included in the itinerary.
For this price point this has to be one of the most disappointing tours we have experienced. I suggest anyone looking at this tour, think twice, it just isn’t worth it!

Worst Tour Experience of My Lifetime!!! - We booked a tour for Mount Fuji in Japan for my family and parents. We are avid and experienced travelers. This was single-handedly the worst tour experience I have ever encountered. The communication with the local tour company was non-existent. I tried for several days to reach the tour group to confirm and discuss/curate the trip but no one picked up the phone and there was no voicemail. There was also no email contact information. The driver contacted me 30 minutes before the start time and told me not to be late at the pick up location: The quality of the van was poor and very uncomfortable. When the driver arrived and I wanted to discuss the trip, he showed no interest. He simply wanted to get moving on the trip. I Informed him that we were trying to meet relatives at a location and he simply said drop me the link but he didn’t even look at it. He provided no information on anything about the trip. He was not a tour guide but simply just a driver. In fact, he had only been in the Japan for a few years and had no knowledge about Japan or the area., and Mount Fuji. When we arrived at our first destination, I told him that we were suppose to meet relatives at a set location. He finally looked at the location and said it was an hour away. When I became upset with the poor communication and poor quality of the tour operator, he blamed the local company and then blamed me. He took absolutely no responsibility for the poor communication. I will never use Viator again and would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. They do not properly vet the local tour companies. Beware, and stay away!!!
