Great experience with lunch, an island and the pigs! - We really enjoyed the entire experience of Pearl and Pig Island. We weren’t interested in snorkeling so this was a great option to get lunch and some down time while also experiencing the pigs. They do allow you to feed them and the space may be smaller than rose island but you still get the experience. The meeting spot was easy to find and we were greeted immediately upon arrival. The boat operators were fun and gave a great tour of the celebrity houses on the way back in. Overall value for the price was very good!

Awesome Experience - Had such a great time. Great crew. They were a ton of fun. The pigs live a cushy lifestyle on the island. They chill in pens at night (to separate from the wild hogs) & gorge themselves on backrubs & snacks all day. My kinda life. Island time is real thing for the entire country so as long as you accept that into your heart, everything will be perfectly fine. Highly recommend this team. Would totally bring the kids here.

Best day of the trip - I loved this trip. We got a great boat ride to the private island, an hour or so to chill there, then got taken to see the pigs and spent a good hour with them. They looked really well looked after and were super happy just trotting around the group. We then went back to the island and had lunch (chicken, fish rice and beans) did some SUP which was all included. We had a veggie on our trip and there wasn’t really an alternative so they just had to have rice and beans.

Worth the hype - This excursion was the highlight of our Bahamas trip! The staff will give you a cup of apples per person to feed the pigs. The staff are clearly very passionate about what they do. If you ask them, they can also tell you a little history about the pigs. Although they may look cute in the pictures, they are still pigs, so be ready to leave with dirty clothes especially if you plan to carry some of the smaller pigs.

Loved swimming with the pigs and pearl island! - This was an awesome experience! The pigs were so cute and so happy. We fed them and hung out with them before we went back to pearl island which was beautiful. Tour guides were awesome too. Only thing that was a little stressful was finding the place from the cruise port. It was a quick walk but we had no idea where to go. We called and they actually had us on the phone and gave us directions so it all worked out. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that has wanted to swim with pigs. Very cool excursion!

A fun excursion - It was what they said it was, swimming with and feeding pigs. The beach was beautiful, the people were friendly, and the pig part was fun. We also got lunch and a couple of beers after feeding the pigs, and it was delicious. I just wished there was more time, but the cruise ship has it's schedule.

Pearl island and pigs encounter. - Awesome trip, on time, food was ok, pigs encounter was good, Pearl island was beautiful. Didn't like the fact that we were not informed that we had to join the other boat to return to the port, it all turned out well in the end. Would definitely recommend. Lovely experience.

Island Day/ Swim with the pigs - Guides were great and seeing the pigs was really awesome. I do encourage anyone to bring their own water they do not provide water bottles so make sure to bring your own. You get about 45 minutes with the pigs and yes there are several others on the beach as well, but if possible do this on a weekday and there are way less people so you get more attention with the pigs as it isn’t so busy. The separate island you stay at while not with the pigs was big enough, but again we went on a weekday so not crammed and there were tons of seating options to choose from. Bring your water shoes, some rocky areas and wished I would have brought mine. Interaction with the pigs was so much fun and a memory my family gets to keep forever. I would recommend this but strive for a weekday. Only gave four stars due to the water bottles and limited swim beach areas. For what you pay per person there should be water stations all over or water bottles for you. Aside from that is was really something!

Why the hype? - This experience was ok. There was no tour or explanation of the surroundings on the way to the island. The island was a tourist trap with very pricey, low quality drinks. Lunch was average. To say swimming pigs is misleading. Everyone stands in the water with skewers of hot dogs as the pigs are released to rush the nearest food source. Although there are some smaller pigs, there are also large sows. This was not a pleasant experience, wading in pig poo water while trying not to be knocked over. Definitely would not take children. These aren't the cute, cuddly pigs you are envisioning. I'm sure the tour operators sit there thinking white people are crazy to pay to do this. Meeting location was also hard to find. Instructions could be clearer since most people won't have access to Google abroad. We found the tour thanks to a very helpful, neighboring shop owner. My recommendation would be to spend the $ on an excursion offered by your cruise or resort.

Wasted time waiting and No Boat!! - We were booked on a 5 hour swimming with the pigs along with beach time and was told to be there at 10:15am for a 10:30am leave time. We waited along with about 7 others and no one showed up until 10:40am. He told everyone that the boat was broke down and another boat would be there within minutes. 11:30am and still no boat and we asked the gentleman for a refund and he told us that we could get 50% off however wasn’t for sure when the boat would arrive. At 11:45am no boat was still there and we left with another company that took us abroad…
