THIS IS THE TRUE WE ALWAYS DREAMED!!!! - AMAN ETHIOPIA is THE company to bring you on the trip of a lifetime in Ethiopia. I don't even know where to begin. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was absolutely phenomenal. We did a trip to Lalibela, harar,Danakil & omo valley day trip, 12 days of total From the scratch the communication was with Amanuel & it was incredible, the all local staff was easy to work, and were willing to do exactly what we were interested in/accommodate our needs. We felt safe being picked up from the airport, being guided around town, and through all the destinations. If you are looking for an experience to change your life, this is it. I cannot recommend enough this company and this great itinerary.

Amazing discovery in North of Ethiopia - I have discovered wonders in the North of Ethioia. I have discovered things that I didn't even know existed. This tour was very cultural and very instructive. Joseph was my Tour Guide. He did a great job explaining everything. He also a very flexible person who try to adapt to the need of the guest. I had one situation after the tour where I needed help to remove an issue, Joseph was there for me even the tour ended. He also helped with with other needs that were not related to the tour, like helping me get a sim card for my phone, buying my favorite fruits or eating my favorite meal. He has done everything to make those things possible. Aman was also very flexible. I had difficulty getting money from my card because my bank account was blocked. Aman trust me and still start the tour even I didn't pay him anything yet. He didn't want me to wait too long as he knew that I was in Ethiopia for just a few days. I appreciated the fact that he trusted me and made the tour possible for me.

Historical and scenic tour of Northern Ethiopia 21 May - 31 May 2019 - After being greeted by the tour staff (driver and tour guide - Sisay and Bruk), the driving tour began by driving north-west through very scenic mountains and valleys towards Bahir Dar/Lake Tana (one of the sources of the Nile) during which the very knowledgeable tour guide gave adscription of the geography and history. After experiencing the fauna (e.g. Hippos) and flora of the lake then visiting two ancient monasteries on islands in the lake we visited the Ethiopian Nile waterfalls. From then on the tour became increasingly more exciting as we visited: Gondar - site of the castles belonging to middle age emporars and the pool where once a year large numbers of people are baptised; the Simien Mountains - take care altitude sickness, drink plenty of water; Axum the ancient city (1century BCE to 8 century AD) -very reminicent of Kmt (ancient egypt); Yeha the ancient temple (10 century BCE) and burial site; Lalibela and its 12 middle ages churches carved down into the bedrock. Note: At each site we had a local guide; I found Axum and Yeha most exciting because of the timeperiod they represent and three archaeological teams have begun work on them. During the tour most of the hotels we stayed were good and comfortable with sceanic views, though at times the breakfast was limited, the other hotels were satisfactory; on three nights we were treated to very enjoyable cultural entertainment. The tour end with a very enjoyable night of cultural music, song, dance and food in Addis Ababa. I found Bruk and Sisay very professional and knowlegeable, they were always helpful and nothing reasonable was to much - when driving along the road if an obstacle was encountered they would assist the locals in resolving it. I thank them for allowing me to spend time relaxing with them and providing a very enjoyable tour DADA IMAROGBE

Pre-Christian & Christian Northern Ethiopia Tour - We landed at Addis Ababa airport and if the VIP customs welcome was anything to go by, the journey would be beyond expectation. Aman Tours were waiting for us at the entrance of the airport with driver, Sisay, and admin/tour guide Bruook. We set off on the road for eight hours and visited in turn Bahir Dir, Gondar, Axum, Yeha, Lalibela, Mekele. Primarily Christian in belief Ethiopia also has pre-Christian sites like Yeha with its brick built walls, holy of holies, sacrificial altar & purification stepped down wash room. Through this 4300 k journey, the two staff were devoted, kind beyond the call of duty, and regularly consulted their boss to iron out any curls. By the time the trip ended, we became close as family. We had great entertainment, some great hotels, but also a couple unexpected not too great hotels, but mainly of beautiful views and comfortable rooms. Lake Tana and its boat ride were a highlight, and relaxing in the garden of the restaurant was near heavenly. One caveat is that we sometimes had two days of driving which could have been broken up by visiting a farm as agriculture is fundamental to the Ethiopian economy. A very enjoyable and once in a life time experience!
