ITINERARY :
GILI PETAGAN :
Gili Petagan is the largest and most developed island among Secret Gilis. It’s a snorkeler’s dream featuring many corals and fish, including Nemos, for you to find. The whole island is covered in a mangrove forest that protects marine life and serves as a home for diverse species. Petagan’s strong point is an Amazonian vibe, due to the mangrove forest blanketing most of the island.
GILI LAMPU :
This Gili has very beautiful nature and virgin beaches. The beach is decorated with white sand and clear blue sea water. In addition, the island is also filled with clusters of coral reefs that add to the beauty of the beaches. In addition, the Japanese heritage lighthouse also attracts many tourists.
GILI BIDARA :
Gili Bidara is the kind of snorkeling location in the East Gilis as the coral reef is close to the surface, making it suitable for beginners. It’s the perfect island for those seeking a romantic getaway in a quiet and mysterious paradise. The legendary Mount Rinjani can be seen at sunrise in the right conditions, and this island is perfect for those seeking a romantic getaway somewhere quiet and uninhabited with a mysterious, uncharted atmosphere. The waters surrounding the islands are apparent and shallow, which makes it an ideal snorkeling spot. Clownfish and massive sea turtles regularly visit the underwater cliffs that are overgrown with soft corals and seaweed.
GILI KONDO :
Gili Kondo is the most known and popular Gili island here in the east. You could say it’s something like the Gili Trawangan of East Lombok. Especially locals like to come to Gili Kondo since it’s a popular camping island, here you can perfectly snorkel and see many corals. Unfortunately, I already saw the first trampled corals. But most of them are still alive and just beautiful.

East Lombok may not be a popular tourist spot, but it can get quite crowded, thanks to the locals who frequent the island and its main beach during weekends and holidays. Therefore, it’s advisable to visit during weekdays when it’s more peaceful.
Furthermore, it’s an ideal place for snorkeling, offering a close-up view of numerous corals. Sadly, some corals have been damaged already. Fortunately, most are still vibrant and truly breathtaking.
