Join us on a walking tour through el chorrillo and santana, areas renowned for their vibrant street art and distinctive local culture. We’ll explore the influence of the Jamaican builders who contributed to the creation of the Panama Canal.
Our journey includes a stop at the fish market where you can taste a sample of our regional ceviche.
We’ll then head to casco viejo, immersing ourselves in the history of Spanish colonies in Panama as well as the French influence on architecture. We’ll discuss how the French first attempted to build the canal, and delve into their enduring impact on Panama.

Great social history tour - This was a great tour to see all sides of Panama and understand more of the city's history, present, and future. Juan provided an excellent overview of the social history of the Chorrillo neighborhood and surrounding area.

Casco Viejo El Chorrillo and fish market - Our tour guide Juan was very knowledgeable and took us through some of the old town that showed us another side of the old town. A real eye opener and a bit disturbing to see how some of these people live. However this is true of any big city everywhere. We also stopped for a taste of ceviche at the fish market, very good and fresh. This was a very good tour and would recommend it for people that want to see areas just outside of old town. Not really for kids and wear closed in shoes.
