Thumboormuzhi Dam & Garden - Thumboormuzhi dam and garden is part of the Ezattumugham Prakrithi Gramam project. The project includes hanging bridge, which is the main attraction, a butterfly garden, kids play area, a watch tower to see the river etc are the main attraction of this place. Hanging bridge is the main attraction as when you walk on this bridge, you can see Chalakudi river flows under your feet, view from middle of the river, and one of the best place for photography. The butter fly park is another attraction. This place is located before Athirapally waterfalls from Kochi to Athirapally route. This is one of the best places for photography and family outing.

• Parking available inside the park.
• Visit this before or after Athirapally visit. Park and butterfly garden close at 1630 hrs.

A terrific daytrip to Athirapally falls - We were looking to make a daytrip to Athirapally Waterfalls during the October monsoon, and I'm so glad we contacted Sree's tours and found our guide Vinod!
Vinod did a great job driving us safely from Kochi and back. I was so glad to have his expert driving in the city traffic and especially in the heavy pouring rain. I was glad to have an English-speaking driver, and I was glad he pointed out some of the scenery along the way to the falls, including the rubber trees, cashew trees, and oil palms. We opted to skip seeing a dam and hanging bridge along the way at first because it was raining too hard, but fortunately the rain had abated once we reached Athirapally Falls. Since our phones didn't work, we coordinated a time to meet up with Vinod after walking in and when the time came, he was right there waiting for us. After seeing more of the falls and the hanging bridge, he also drove us to a delicious weekend-only restaurant for lunch served on a banana leaf.
One recommendation: if you're going to make the long trek down to see Athirapally falls from below, I'd allow for at least a 2 hour stop at Athirapally falls.
I highly recommend contacting Sree's Tours if you're looking for a trip to Athirapally falls or other adventures near Kochi.

One of the best waterfall - We had a wonderful time exploring kerala waterfalls and there nature 😀. Our driver rehjith was very helpful in every situation.

Awesome - Trip was awesome ..driver cum guide mr.suraj is fluent english & hindi speaker ..his planning and guidance are very good..highly recommended shree tours..nice service ..tip for future traveller..dont waste your time by staying in kochi.. instead plan a day or 2 day trip and stay at athirapilley..
