Highlights
  • Ponte Pedonal Metalica de Peso da Regua - The metal bridge was built by King D. Luís I at the end of the 19th century to cross the Douro River by road and was deactivated in the mid-20th century due to the state of degradation of the wooden deck.

On this date, rehabilitation works were carried out on the bridge in an urban and landscape context, which gave it a more appropriate use due to its original characteristics.

This bridge thus became part of the network of footpaths along the Douro.

Two Couples on Viseu and Lamego Tour - We booked this trip for two couples directly with through the Endless Weekend website. Carlos was available for all questions and in moments we had our booking confirmed. Although the itinerary had pick up at a hotel in Porto Carlos accommodated without an issue to pick us up from the Quinta where we were staying in Régua. All final details and options were confirmed in the days leading up to the tour and on the day of Carlos was right on time and very friendly. The vehicle was very nice, clean and equipped with water. Carlos is a very good driver. We were able to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. There was a detour due to seasonal fires however Carlos knows the area very well and it was not an issue at all. The tour was very interesting and Carlos is very well informed and knowledgeable. I would absolutely book another tour with endlessweekend tours again!! Look no further. Thank you Carlos!! Beijinho
