Highlights
- Bill Beard’s Costa Rica - Ground transportation is provided from most Playa Hermosa, Playas del Coco, Playa Panama, Playa Ocotal and Playa Flamingo-Conchal area hotels. You will be picked up around 9 AM for the morning tour and taken to the base camp where you will be given a safety briefing and learn to use the ATV. Licenses will be checked and after some instruction and a little practice time, you will don helmets and go on a two-hour tour.
Remember you must be at least 16 years of age and show a valid driver’s license to go as a single rider or to be the driver if you are riding with someone else. Riders can be 8-15 years of age, but they cannot drive.
After the ATV tour, the vans will be waiting to take you back to your hotel. Your van will return to your hotel around 1 PM from the tour.

Fun ATV ride on muddy trails - Our guides were very good and stopped to point out monkeys in the trees. No issues with hotel pickup and drop off. We had 6 riders with 2 guides which seemed appropriate. One guide in the rear to make sure we didn’t get lost on the trails. They provided a break with water. 2 hours was plenty of time to ride.

Fun for the Family! - This was a great adventure, very close to our hotel. Tour driver and ATV guide were both fantastic. We had a private tour just for our family and it was awesome! Nadine from Bill Beard was awesome in helping to organize this day trip. Highly recommend - our kids loved riding the ATVs - everyone had a blast!

Bill Beard's: A great tour company to work with in CR! - All of the tours arranged by Bill Beard's went off without a hitch. Sloth tour, ATV, whitewater rafting, hikes, ziplining. Private transfer from Liberia Airport to La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano and back was well worth the price

Dirty but fun - Was a workout maneuvering the ATV through the hills & got dirty as expected but was fun. Just wish there was a place to put cell phone in for individual riders like the double riders vehicles to take pics of us, scenery, wildlife etc. Luckily someone was able to take pic & airdrop it

Boring.. the same terrains throughout - Completely disappointed. We do ATV's all the time in US and hoped for a beach ATV just like in the pictures or probably ATVing in streams and waterfalls.. instead, we got dry rainforest, farms and burnt terrains.

Not a wildlife tour! Eco-terrorism. At 20 mph holding on for dear life one cannot even really look at trees! - The dry forest is one of my favorite places in the world. I can no longer hike to get where I want to be, so we wondered if this tour would be appropriate for us. I e-mailed and was told that yes, we should bring our binoculars and would enjoy it. But all we did was churn through the dust at 20 mph. The guide didn't point out anything - and with the speed and the noise, no one would have heard. The advertising is completely wrong, terribly misleading, and the experience was awful. I was not expecting waterfalls in March or many animals at 11 in the morning, but there were beautiful trees we whizzed by without notice.
