We had such a great experience with Eco Tours on our private tour. We loved that this company was part of ethical whale watching and were nature first - which was why we chose this tour over others. We had members of our group who love learning about local flora and fauna and there wasn’t a question our guide (Michael) didn’t know! Every fish, every bird, every plant he knew what it was. Our boat driver was also really great. It happened to be really choppy water and he maneuvered us really well. We never felt unsafe. Unfortunately due to the daily lottery, we didn’t get passes for our entire group to go the hidden beach (only 2 of 6 got to go), but those that didn’t get to go still felt that they had a great tour regardless and didn’t feel like they missed out on anything as the boat driver toured around the island. A highlight was that we saw a mom and baby humpback whale breech right beside our boat multiple times! Amazing! We also saw dolphins along the way! Snorkelling was also really fun, we saw lots of fish, but due to the choppy conditions it wasn’t necessarily crystal clear waters but that’s not really any fault of the tour, just Mother Nature. The snorkelling gear was really comfortable to wear. Overall we had a great experience and was a highlight for our group - would recommend.
