Situated to the south of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya is renowned for its contemporary architecture from the late 20th century, including the striking Putra Mosque, constructed with rose-tinted granite and featuring a pink-colored dome. Adjacent to it stands the vast Perdana Putra with a green dome, housing the offices of the prime minister. The three-tiered Putra Bridge, which echoes Persian architecture, boasts four minaret-like piers that offer views of the artificial Putrajaya Lake.

Interesting architecture - The trip set off badly as the time was changed from 10.30 to 11.30, due to road closures, then the guide was 25 minutes late as she had been on another trip, so nothing to do with roads. The guide was lovely personally, but this was a part time job, and she needed her google to find places, get directions, answer questions etc. The trip was meant to include a cruise but that didn’t work as the company wanted 20 people to do it, so you had to wait. We enjoyed the architecture.
