Puyo - Canyoning Water Sports in Cashaurco Puyo
Once prepared, the instructor will provide a safety briefing and outline the canyoning itinerary. This activity involves rappelling down waterfalls using ropes, offering an exhilarating experience as you feel the cascade of water over your face and body, creating a refreshing sensation of water rushing past you. No prior experience or specific fitness level is required to fully savor this escapade, located just minutes from Baños.
Participants will rappel down five distinct waterfalls, ranging from 12 to 25 meters in height, set against the backdrop of the Amazon’s lush jungle scenery. The experience also features a local trout, a fish indigenous to the region.
- Lunch
Unleash your adventurous side with complimentary leaps from a height of 6 meters. This canyon journey is a thrilling experience, featuring activities like zip-lining, rappelling, swimming and diving at certain spots. Following approximately 3 hours of exploration, we will return to the parking area to switch into dry apparel.
Once suitably attired, we proceed to the restaurant that is poised to serve us well-deserved grilled trout entrées. After our meal, we head back to Puyo, Pastaza. The best part - you don’t need any special training or fitness level to fully embrace this adventure, located roughly 40 minutes from Puyo, Pastaza.
