- Ranua Zoo - Do you want to see arctic animals in their natural habitat in the picturesque forests of Lapland? Join us for a guided tour of Ranua Zoo - the northernmost zoo in the world.
We will take you to see 50 different animal species, including the only polar bears in Finland. We organize the entire trip - from transportation to tickets, the only thing you need to do is have fun.
We specialize in small private tours, but if you’re coming with a big group, we are more than happy to accommodate you all.
Ranua Wildlife Park is located one hour drive from the town of Rovaniemi in an Arctic forest. In the summer you can see nature bustling with life. You can see polar bears, gray wolves, geese, owls, foxes, lynxes, minks and brown bears playing in the forest. On this unique tour, you can see them bathe, eat and groom. After a guided zoo tour where you’ll learn about animals and life in Lapland, we will sit down for a tasty buffet lunch.

A memorable family trip experience - This will remain as one of the memorable trips with family to the zoo. The main attraction of the zoo was Venus the Polar bear who seemed to be a really good mood the day of the visit. We had Tanya who was our guide tour and she was great an amazing guide and she explained so many information about the birds and animals in the zoo. A lot of discussions during the trip got to understand about finnish culture and history. Food in the park was also good. Visited the Candy store and picked up some liqourish chocolates.

Great place to visit. A terrific experience.ence - Our son told us about Ranua and we are glad he did. A fantstic opportunity to see some truly unique Arctic animals living in their natural habitat. Having a fanastic tour guide named Tania made the experience even more memorable-she was very pleasant and knowledgeable in everything to do with the Zoo.
This is a place well worth visiting

Amazing zoo experience! - This was definitely a highlight in our trip! Our guide Tanya was so amazing and knew so much of the animals there. We had the opportunity meet Venus the polar veas and get to know her story. All the animals look good and very well taken care of. The lunch provided was good and they had variety.

Fantastic experience at the Ranua Resort - The experience has been super exciting. We had the opportunity to see many artic species in the middle of the snowy forest.

Great Activity! - Victor D from Spain was our guide and he was very professional! He provided info regarding the animals and their habits, he was friendly, pleasant, polite and very helpful!!!! Additionally, he was a very good and careful driver.
The activity was value for money, even though you might not see all the animals due to the season.

Ranua Wildlife Park tour. - Our family of 3 had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide was excellent- she was very friendly and knowledgable. We were guided around the park and learned a lot about the arctic animals and the history of the Rovaniemi area. The buffet lunch was good too. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour. Nordic Adventures were excellent.

The highlight of our trip to Rovaniemi! - We visited the wildlife park were we got picked up at rovaniemi and drove for one hour. During our drive the guide named Tanya told us a lot of interesting facts about Finland and the park where we were going to, so we got really excited about where we were going! In the park she told us a lot of facts about the animals and it was really nice to hear another perspective on these animals and where they have been to and been through aswell. During the entire tour she kept us entertained and we really enjoyed this tour, we would even say that this tour was the highlight of our trip to Rovaniemi! At the end I forgot my sunglasses in the car so I quickly called the bureau and within 10 minutes she came back to give them to me. The service was impeccable and I will definitely make use of Northic Adventures when I come back!

Absolutely worth it! - I visited the zoo on a warm (-4°C), sunny monday and was lucky to see most of the Arctic animals. The zoo is an animal sanctuary too, so they are very well taken care of. Special thanks to Pedro, our very friendly guide and good driver! Good selection at the buffet! There's also a Karl Fazer chocolate and candy shop with good prices.

Ranua Wildlife Park Tour - If you go with the expectation that you are going to a Zoo, you will be fine. In the description they use the words reserve and wildlife park leading me to believe anyway that it was more like a safari encountering the wildlife in the forest. We had a great guide, Tanya, who was knowledgeable about the animals and gave a great walking tour through the zoo.
