For the adventurous at heart!
This two-hour expedition will take you to the summits of both Reykjavik Peak and Wolf Peak Mountain.
Your day will commence with a pickup by the ATV Operator crew who will transport you to their newly established base camp complete with well-appointed restrooms and complimentary coffee.
Once the initial briefing is complete, you will embark on your ATV adventure across Lake Hafravatn, through the Icelandic wilderness, and up to Reykjavik Peak to take in the scenic view. After conquering Reykjavik Peak, you will set off to climb the more challenging Wolf Peak Mountain. The views from these two peaks span across Faxafloi Bay, Esja Mountain, the capital city of Reykjavik, and the Blue Mountains. You will also have the opportunity to witness the steam emanating from the Hellisheidi Geothermal power plant that supplies heat to homes in Reykjavik.
Any substance use, including alcohol, is strictly forbidden on our adventures. Participants who appear under the influence will not be refunded.
Maximum group size for the ATV rides: 20 individuals
- Pricing is per person and based on 2 people riding on one quad
- Children aged 8-17 are only permitted as passengers on the quad bikes
- A valid driver’s license is required to drive the quad bike
- No alcohol or drug tolerance is allowed on our tours. We have the right to breathalyze participants if our guides suspect a participant being under the influence and deny going on the tour. Iceland ATV Ride - I had a great ride today with Sir Kalctuz as my guide as my private guide! Kalctuz was excellent, explained the ATV very well and took me on a diverse interesting ride through the Iceland countryside. The ride included both on road and off road experiences, vistas, streams and rocky trails. Very fun, I would highly recommend this company and guide.

AMAZING GUIDE AND EXPERIENCE - First off, our guide Goncalo was the BEST guide we have ever had. He accommodated all levels of skill as well as gave us information about all of our stops with incredible views. He was so much fun and made sure we were all being safe and following directions. He gave such great advice when dealing with different terrains and on how to properly dress. We absolutely loved him and this ties as one of the best of our other adventures in Iceland. Will 100000% be coming back!

Beyond all expectations - This was BEYOND all expectations! Incredible views, stops to take pictures, we got lucky and had a very small group and everyone handled the ATVs well so we got to do more adventurous terrain. The staff was next level. Goçalo & Mariana were so fun, so personable & just excellent all around! 10/10 a must do on your visit to Reykjavik!

What a way to start our trip! Would 1000000% recommend! - Originally, my partner and I were going to do a photoshoot which got cancelled. We booked this instead and oh my god, this beats a photoshoot any day! We got there early and felt very at ease, our instructor was super friendly and down to earth. I am a curvier girl and was worried the suits wouldn't fit me, but the guide was chilled and told me there are no problems at all. The suit fitted me, even with thermals, a jumper and a thick padded coat. Yes, I felt like a marshmallow, but a very toasty warm marshmallow!
We set off (I was a professional passenger princess) and watching the sun rise over the mountains and tinting everything pink was a once in a lifetime. I remember feeling the rush of the cool breeze and shutting my eyes and feeling so free and happy! My boyfriend was a champ in the challenging thick snow, and as it was only us and one other couple, it felt like a very intimate group and we got to see much more. Our guide remained relaxed and happy, showing us stunning mountains and incredible views and frozen lakes.
We'd 100% do this again, one of the highlights of our holiday.

Fun ride and amazing views - An absolute five-star experience! I went with my teenage son and we loved every minute. The views were amazing, the ride was invigorating, and the team of people was helpful and lovely to be with. I would happily do this again and recommend it to anybody who wants to spend a few hours outdoors.
