It holds the meeting of the American and Eurasian tectonic plates, but also this place was chosen to celebrate the general assembly, this is where Iceland’s parliament was founded in 930 A.D.
- Oxararfoss - Even though this beautiful waterfall is not one of the biggest in the country, it is one of the Icelandic peopleâs most well-loved waterfalls due to its location and for its historical significance
- Efstidalur II - We will visit Efstidalur dairy farm for some ice cream and also to visit Icelandic cows and other animals.
- Geysir - Geysir geothermal area is quite stunning where you witness the geyser Strokkur erupts every five minutes.
- Gullfoss Waterfall - The thundering Gullfoss waterfall tops many lists as a powerful and hypnotizing natural phenomenon

Fridheimar - After having lunch (not included) at this tomato farm, we will gain an insight into the processes of greenhouse horticulture, with a short and informative talk on the subject.
Also, Friðheimar breeds Icelandic horses, so we will be able to see and pet a couple of them. - Kerid Crater - It is one of several crater lakes in the area, known as Iceland’s Western Volcanic Zone, which includes the Reykjanes peninsula and the Langjökull Glacier, created as the land moved over a localized hotspot, but it is the one that has the most visually recognizable caldera still intact.

An amazing day on the Great Circle - Loved the Golden Circle tour today! Inga was a great host, sharing Iceland culture with her personal experiences. She gave insightful details before each stop with very clear instructions for what to see (and when/where to get back in the van). She answered questions very clearly, even playing some of her own music on the bus!! Excellent day !

Great intro to Iceland. - An easy day with great stops. I love you can stop at and support local businesses! The dairy and tomato farm were not forced activities like in some countries where you ask yourself "why are we here?". They really are worth the visit. The knowledge of the guides is what makes this small tour group exceptional. Sævar þ was our guide and we enjoyed his tour very much!

Phenomenal tour of Golden Circle and MORE!!!! - Baldwin was an amazing tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the Golden Circle tour with the tomato farm, the Geysir, the waterfall and Kerid. Baldwin was knowledgeable, funny and his English was great! We had an awesome time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone! We got amazing pictures of the Geysir and waterfalls. Tomato soup and fresh bread with cheese and olives and oh the butter…the butter was fantastic!
Ice cream at the dairy farm was divine!
Baldwin - we took your recommendation and went to Kaldi for a beer and it was fabulous.

Great Tour - Martin was our driver/guide. He was outstanding. The pace of the tour was perfect. We had adequate time at each stop and never felt rushed. Martin provided great support information about Iceland and each stop. It truly was a small group tour! He also provided recommendations at each stop on how to make the most out of our visit. Highly recommend.

Best of Iceland - Completed two complete day trips with EastWest. Both with Devin - the most interesting and humorous guide we have toured either around the world. He is extremely knowledgeable about all things glacier, volcano, or northern lights related. We are a family of five and went on the Golden Circle and South Coast tours. This is the company you want to tour with.

Loved this tour - This was a great tour. Our guide, Devin, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, funny and interesting to listen to. This is an active tour. In and out of the bus a LOT. I loved that aspect. Devin was accommodating to a group of people on our tour who had a dinner resi right after we ended. This all day Golden Circle tour was a great thing to do our first full day in Iceland.

Terrific Tour - This was one of the best tours I have ever taken. We saw crater, waterfalls, geysers etc. Our guide Devin was interesting, informative and entertaining. He did a fabulous job, He gets a 10/10.
