We begin our journey by traversing the picturesque Icelandic countryside for the first 150 km. From this point onwards, the landscape turns considerably more riveting. We delve into a stark volcanic desert for over 30km, leading us to Landmannalaugar. The staggering geysers and glacial brooks contribute to the intriguing glamour of this singular location.

Navigating through rivers and bumpy gravel pathways is a part of the memorable expedition. A halt at the Crater Lake Ljótipollur, established in 1477, now brimming with a deep cobalt-blue lake, is a part of our itinerary. We will also drop by at the lake Frostastaðavatn, leading up to our main destination. A duration of 2-3 hours will be spent at Landmannalaugar, providing ample opportunities for a scenic trek. Following an hour of hiking, we can luxuriate in a natural pool or independently explore the locale before setting off towards our return journey. On our return, we will take the Dómadalur route that meanders through volcanic terrains and impressive high mountains, crossing a multitude of rivers and admiring several splendid waterfall.
