Amazing views with an amazing guide 5* - Absolutely amazing hiking tour couldn't recommend it more. Stunning views, great workout and our guide Laurentiu was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and just an all round lovely man to spend the day with. Won't regret booking it!

Amazing hiking day with Ramona - We had full day hiking tour to Piatra Craiului. It was perfect thanks to Ramona our tour guide. Beyond my expectations, amazing day! - I went on this hiking at the end of December, and it was an amazing experience, with different kind of landscapes throughout the day, lots of snow and great views. Having an experienced guide in these hikings is very important, specially if you are not familiar with the regions, since the Forrest can be very dense, with lots of different paths it would be easy to get lost. And although it was around 5/6 hours hike (and we are beginners!) it went really well, as we walked at our own pace, with stop midway for a typical Romanian lunch in a cute cabin :) Ramona was very helpful even before the trip started, explaining the material needed and always answering our questions through WhatsApp! She also gave us lots of tips during the hike (and lended some equipment to walk easily in the snow), very knowledgeable of the region and the Romanian culture in general. Basically we couldn’t be more happy with this tour, I really recommend to anyone looking for a great day at the nature!!

Great hiking and amazing guide! - We did this hiking during the winter. It was an amazing experience. Ramona is quite experienced, knows a lot the region and is super friendly and helpful. Therefore, even though we are beginers we felt really safe and with a lot of information. The park is amazing and we could see different mountains during the hiking (although a bit foggy). There was a lot of snow and was beautiful, I can imagine during summer time is also nice to visit the area. We also had lunch in a typical Romania cabin and food was delicious. Highly recommended hiking!!!

Stunning hike, amazing guide! - We did this hike as part of a 3 day hiking/castles tour with Ramona. The scenery and hike was stunning and Ramona was a consummate guide! She shared her extensive knowledge of history, nature, and hiking while taking such good care of us and making sure we had a great time and were well fed throughout our visit. We enjoyed every moment of this tour and would go back again to do more hikes and tours with Ramona in a heartbeat. There were 3 people in our group and due to last minute scheduling and health needs (one of us arrived with an injured ankle!), Ramona worked with us and adjusted things so that we still got to do this incredible hike but we did it in a way that was safe and comfortable for us. I looked up multiple tour options prior to our visit to Romania, and Ramona’s tours and flexibility, her very responsive and thorough communication (e.g. providing a packing list and clarifying questions about our needs along with updates about covid situations), her approach to safety, and her joy in sharing information about Romania, made this the very best option for us. Ramona is truly amazing and this trip was outstanding. If you are on the fence about a trip to Romania, this hike, or going with Ramona, we highly recommend all three!! We have hiked and toured in many places around the world and this was truly a stand out!

Great experience - I got picked up in the morning from my hotel which was very convenient. The time spent on the road was around 1 hour or so, parked the car and immediately started climbing. It was difficult at first. I was lucky to be travelling alone. I know most of my friends are not hiking lovers. The rather steep climb ended rapidly, and I felt I could breathe again. Now that I think about it, it wasn’t that steep anyway! There were other tourists on the path so I think that this is a popular trail. Soon enough we reached the Curmatura Cabin. Ramona was very nice and explained everything I wanted to know. Honestly, I don’t know how she could talk and hike at the same time! But I think she’s been born and raised in the woods so that explains a lot :)) The food from the cabin was tasty, specially the homemade pies! You don’t want to miss that. They also had a huge dog and a big, orange cat, which were both very calm and friendly and demanded that we fed them. On the way back, we passed through a Canyon, I believe it was the Zarnesti Canyon. A place where nature was indeed extremely generous and created a timeless beauty. All in all, the hike was very pleasant and I can’t wait to be able to travel again! Not worth the price! - NOT WORTH THE PRICE! As a solo traveler sometimes I book things last minute, I booked this trip a day before the hike, as soon as I booked I emailed the guide just to make sure that I am all set for the next day. NO one responded to me until the morning of the hike, the guide told me that she has a rule set that should not allow anyone to book 48 hrs prior. So the morning of the hike, she needed to find someone who would be able to be my guide. Honestly, I booked this because of all the great reviews regarding the tour guide, they were all great. Except that I DID NOT get the great guide, the tour guide I got was not the best. He was very slooow, did not talk much, and I feel like I wasted my money. This hike is not worth the money, it is a very quick and easy hike. If you are a hiker I would recommend getting a taxi and doing this hike on your own. Or make sure to get a tour guide that is younger and is able to tell you more stories .
