Great experience - We decided to spend our afternoon in Saint-Emilion with my two friends and therefore to visit one of the local castles. We booked a 2 hour tour with a tasting of three wines. The experience was great, the weather was great, the castle and the scenery are magnificent, and our guide Maëlle was great. Very attentive, attentive, kind and very interesting. She took the time to answer our questions and explain to us all the stages of winemaking at Chateau de La Croizille, in the old and new cellars. We had a great afternoon. Thanks to Maelle, and the whole team.

Great wine with amazing views. - We visited in late February when a local recommend this winery. The service and the tour was definitely worth it and the added information was very helpful. They even called us a cab back to the village because it ended up raining pretty hard. Highly recommend and a great value.

Superb vineyard - Very nice experience at Château Tour Balados/La Croizille, the view of their vineyard is magnificent! We were alone given the time of year but we were warmly welcomed, we were able to visit the 2 installations with traditional and modern technologies, then wine tasting and a plate of cheese and cold meats. We highly recommend! THANKS!!

Worth a visit! 🍇 - We had a great visit and tour led by Paul. It was fascinating to learn about the wine making process and tour the facilities. The wine tasting was fun and enjoyable. Paul spoke excellent English, knew his subject and was happy to answer everyone’s questions.

Wonderful tour - We had a great time on our tour. Guillaume was knowledgeable and very helpful. The produce was also delicious. Great value tour.

Breathtaking scenery across vineyard with an informative tour and tasting! - We were greeted by tour guide John. John was local with his family involved in the business. This made it all the authentic and genuine and he was very knowledeable and we asked lots of questions. The 1 hour tour did not feel rushed and left us time for tasting. Tasting very educational and fun. This is a stunning location with breathtaking views across vineyard. If you have time you can stay longer and enjoy a bottle of wine on the shaded terrace! Wine is available to buy but there was no heavy sales pitch or pressure felt to purchase anything. It was an all round great experience and I highly recommend it.

Poor experIence 😔 - The guide’s English was hard to understand. Too much in a rush and we clashed with another large tour which prevented us from staying in the old winery long enough to get an understanding. The wine tastings were only for bottles in excess of €50 which is a poor strategy. Overall, it felt like take your money and run.

Wasted journey - We had booked an English speaking tour and because some French people joined the party the guide talked in French. We asked him to speak slowly but he didn’t and he was drowned out by the noise of resurfacing work going on. We only saw one of the two chateaus promised because of these works and the wine offered at the tasting was poor.
