Overview of Salalah - We visited after sightseeing in Muscat. It feels a lot more rural than Muscat. The mosques and other things seemed a size smaller. However, there were trees lining the streets and fruit was sold on the street, so it was a bit different from Muscat. We were given an efficient tour of the city and were able to get a feel for the atmosphere of Salalah.

Salalah - The mosque and the Frankincense museum are worth seeing. A very clean and pretty small city. You only need a few hours. We did not go to the beach. Our guide Said was very nice and informative. Unfortunately he was not allowed to enter the port to pick us up. We had to take a shuttle bus to a mall to meet up with him. Definitely a drawback to the excursion.
