Additional Information
Experience the tranquil San Francisco Bay during sunset on this evening with the Sunset Cruise aboard an opulent catamaran. Sail past Alcatraz Island, under the Golden Gate Bridge, and keep an eye out for sea lions, then cruise along the city skyline.
Both the Adventure Cat 55’ and the 65’ catamaran come equipped with a 360-degree, enclosed viewing area for those who prefer not to have the wind in their faces, as well as canvas trampoline nets where you can soak in the ocean and sights with the fresh sea breeze.
Regarding capacity, as an outdoor business categorically, we don’t currently face official restrictions, but we voluntarily limit our numbers to ensure everyone feels safe. Our 47-passenger vessel holds about 40 per trip, and the 90-passenger vessel is limited to 76 for maximal comfort.
- We can accept manual wheelchairs only, as there are 3-4 stairs to board the boat. Also, restrooms are not ADA accessible.
- Please bring a jacket and wear soft-soled shoes
- Audio guides are available in English, Mandarin, French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. Please bring headphones if you plan on using the audio guide.
- No outside beverages may be brought on board

Directions: Stand on the sidewalk facing the water. Enter main P39 entrance, then out left between shops to the water (towards GG Bridge). Gate J is located right next to the sea lion viewing area (ask someone where are sea lions are if lost).

Definitely recommend - Did the sunset catamaran cruise and had a great time! The staff were all really friendly. Wrap up warm, it’s a cold one!!!

FABULOUS - Upon our arrival the team were all very chatty and super friendly.
It took us awhile to get our sea legs ( not sure we ever did) but this made us laugh so much more staggering around.
The catamaran appeared much smoother than ordinary boat, enabling us to take some great pictures the crew were always very quick to step in and take some of both of us.
We have done many trips on our American adventure and this was by far my favourite.
Give it a go you won’t regret it.

Fantastic - Wish I could remember the names of the 3 in charge of our boat but they were fantastic! Just a fantastic experience and the crew made it even better than expected-they even let us steer and taught lessons of sailing . Highly recommend

A true experience! - We had a great time, the views were spectacular, but the crew really mad the experience. I would like to thank them for their smiles, engagement and overall fun personalities. They even offered for us to captain the boat for photos, we declined but enjoyed watching others and were impressed with the mini photoshoots the gentleman did for them! Highly recommend! Also dress warmly!

Absolutely amazing experience with the best crew! - We had an absolutely fantastic time with the Adventure Cat team. Everyone was super friendly and the sunset trip was just spectacular. Even the weather was a bit challenging, it didn’t really matter. There were extra jackets prepared to keep us warm.
The team was super helpful with taking pictures and Captain Katharina shared great info about the bay and wildlife during the trip.
Absolutely highlight of our SFO trip and I can only recommend the Adventure Cat team!
