Great overview of coffee production in Guatemala. - My partner and I did the tour with Vick in English on Thursday 18th April. Vick promptly contacted us by WhatsApp, he explained the coffee plant life cycle, the history of coffee production in Guatemala and answered our questions. Vick used the murals in San Juan to help demonstrate, as well as some machinery in a local coffee shop. Vick also recommended some places to eat, and some other activities to try during our stay. 4 of 5 stars - Vick was a bit late, and it would have been more efficient to meet him at the docks in San Juan rather than him get the public boat to collect us, and then us all get the public boat to San Juan together. A good activity - glad we did it. A nice intro to San Juan as well, would suggest doing it as first thing on arrival to help orientate - since San Juan is pretty small and we’d walked a lot of the streets etc by ourselves a few days before the tour.
