Highlights
- San Pedro - This tour takes you from the South of the island where we impart the History relating to South Ambergris. We then head to the primary town core making stops at various points of interest on the island and imparting our knowledge to you. We make a visit to the Iguana Sanctuary then head north of the island and sharing the history relating to North Ambergris. We then break for lunch where you get a taste of Cultural bites.

- Belizean tacos, fried Jack’s and more - Fried Jack’s are a Belizean Special for breakfast, Nice and puffy. breakfast tacos are rolled corn tortillas with chicken and a slaw.
- Belizean Tamales and Tamalito - Taste the Mestizo and Mayan culture in our Tamales and Tamalito.
- Local sweet treats - Try the sweet of the day whether it’s a candid fruit, a local root cake or more.
- Belizean Chocolate - We make a stop at a local and organic chocolate company to sample their locally made chocolate.

Great informative tour - We really enjoyed our tour. We learned so much about the history and culture of San Pedro. Our guide took us to the north side of the island which was not included so we do appreciate extra touch.

Absolutely worth it, for new and repeat visitors alike. - Even as veteran travelers to Belize, we learned so much and enjoyed tasting some of the best culinary treasures on the island. We loved every minute of this tour! We rode in a van, which helped one member of our party who had difficulty walking. Our guide was patient and friendly, and had so much experience and info!

Moat informative - Ovel was so very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Belize and was genuinely happy to share his knowledge with us and showed us so many points of interest that we never would have tried or found on our own. He truly opened up Belizean food and culture to us and made not only this trip, but future trips more enjoyable and authentic!

History/tour of San Pedro, Belize - Great time seeing San Pedro and learning the history of Ambergris Caye. We tasted foods from places we may have never visited. Everything was delicious! Went back to Ruby’s the next morning! Obie was a great guide and so knowledgeable! Highly recommend this excursion!

Good place to start your trip in Belize - The tour guide was great, hope you get Carroll Ovel to give you the past and current history. The food was also very good.

Would recommend! - Did the Mayan ruins and cave tubing tour and it was great! They took care of everything and our tour guide Kenton was fun and knowledgable. Would definitely recommend. With the air transfer option they booked flights for us and provided transportation from to and from the airport. Apparently they do mostly private tours so we weren’t combined with other people we didn’t know. All around great experience.

Food tour? really? - The tour involved walking on small busy dirty streets in very hot weather. Had to prompt the operator to talk only when group was in the shade.
I would not recommend this tour.
