From Funchal, our journey takes us to São Vicente on the North Coast, a place renowned for its vineyards, volcanic caverns, and the production of Madeira table wine. Next, we take a tour of the lava pools at Seixal, featuring Véu da Noiva, a well-known waterfall famous for its striking resemblance to a bridal veil. Following this, we take a halt at the naturally formed volcanic pools in Porto Moniz, one of the most frequented spots in Madeira, offering the chance to indulge in clear waters and superb landscapes. We then ascend to Fanal, an area of exceptional allure ensconced in the Laurissilva Forest, one of Portugal’s top seven natural wonders, and its age-old trees. We keep up our journey to Paúl da Serra, the island’s largest plateau that stands almost 1500 mts high, offering breathtaking views. A stop for lunch (not included) at a traditional Madeiran eatery is also planned. Our tour winds down with a drive to Cabo Girão, Europe’s tallest sea cliff and the world’s second, standing at 589 mts, best known for its glass-floored lookout.
