Ancient historians believed that Ephesus was founded by the Amazons, but now, it is believed to have been the Hittite city of Apasas. With your guide, you will see the Odeion, where the advisory council held its meetings and the Roman Baths, as well as many other columns, monuments and ruins, including the Celsus Library and the Grand Theater of Ephesus.

Additional Information
Our tour will start after our guide meets you at the hotel or port. First we will visit Ephesus, the second largest city in the ancient world. The ancient city of Ephesus has been the most important city in this region for 3 thousand years. Then we will visit the Temple of Artemis, which took a more important role in the development of the city.
On the way back, we will have a panoramic city tour and then we will have our lunch (excluding drinks) at the Turkish carpet production center.We will learn the intricacies of carpet art at the Turkish carpet production center and return to where we started.

Wonderful Tour - Bihter was a wonderful guide who was very knowledgeable and the tour went very smoothly.

Outstanding Ephesus experience - Our experience of the outstanding Ephesus site was made so much more amazing by our professional and experienced guide, Bihter. Her extensive knowledge and detailed,fluent explanations in English allowed us to much more fully appreciate the history,layout and architecture.Bihter is a delightful young woman whose company we three Aussie women enjoyed.Our experience of Ephesus will be a treasured, unforgettable memory.Thank you so much Bihter. Beautiful country, beautiful people! - Seyham our guide was so knowledgeable, spoke great English and was very flexible with our time constraints. He coordinated with the driver perfectly so the van was always near by with the a/c on, during the hot day.

Very interesting - We had a very interesting tour of Ephesus with our excellent guide Seyhan. He was informative and friendly. It’s a difficult site to understand without a guide. A wonderful experience!!

Thank you very much for this beautiful tour. - First of all, we started the day by drinking Turkish delight and Turkish coffee in the morning. Then, we went to Ephesus. The weather was quite nice and our guide gave us an informative lecture. Then, we had dinner somewhere nearby. On the way back, we made shopping accompanied by our guide from local and fantastic places. But no one forced us to buy anything. Everyone was very polite. Thank you very much for this beautiful tour.

Thank you for this kind behavior. - We joined the tour together with my family. Our guide met us in the morning and we went to efes together. The trip was quite safe and comfortable. After that, we had lunch. The food was quite delicious and very varied. It was very nice to have our guide accompany us to our ship at the end of the tour.
