FANTASTIC scenic tour with Vasco - Vasco was our driver & guide & was FANTASTIC! He took us where we wanted to go but he also knew where we should go--the best scenic views, etc. I had the worst motion sickness I've ever had, and Vasco was always checking in with me & tried to make adjustments to make things more comfortable for me. (apparently bumpy then curvy roads are not my friend!) But it was a WONDERFUL day. HIGHLY recommend!!

Beautiful Private Tour Around Sao Miguel with Vasco - We throughly enjoyed our private day tour around Sao Miguel with Vasco. He was very knowledgeable in every aspect of our tour locations. The jeep was very comfortable and clean. The island was unbelievably beautiful. We stopped for lunch at a local restaurant where we had delicious octopus. Toured the lakes to the beaches. Highly recommend this wonderful day tour with Vasco!

A fantastic day! - Vasco provided a fantastic day for us. We had a few places we wanted to get to and he made that happen while sharing his vast knowledge of the island, Azorean history, and making sure we got to see some amazing views. 5-star day in Sao Miguel - Vasco was an amazing host and guide. He shared his wealth of historical and cultural knowledge while finding us the best views of Sete Cidades. Restaurante Lagoa Azule provided a great sampling of local favorites. The local pineapple tour was the perfect wrap to a wonderful day.

Best way to see San Miguel - The 4x4 tours are the best way to see a complete cross section of San Miguel in an efficient (also very fun) day. Mariano, our guide, was both entertaining and knowledgeable!

Fantastic day with Vasco - Phenomenal day with Vasco. We had some places we wanted to go and Vasco completed the itinerary perfectly. The weather was not perfect but the hot springs were fantastic. Vasco has a lot of cultural and historic knowledge and drove us very carefully. I recommend this tour.

5 Star review for a brilliant guide! - We had scheduled Vasco for 2 days and asked him to provide a third because we had such an amazing time. He's a college educated native Azorean who can speak about the history, the geography, geology, flora and fauna, local business practices, best places to eat, and even politics. Because of his vast knowledge on such a variety of levels, we had an incredible vacation and experienced so much more than we would have on our own or with another tour. We did have another private tour two of the other days and they were good, but Vasco was exceptional. The jeep allowed us to see things from perspectives that only hikers could have gotten to see. The best part was that we didn't need to plan out the day. We mentioned the pineapple plantations and he took us to one he worked at. He knew everyone at the tea plantation, the porcelain factory and every restaurant we went. He personalized our tour and navigated the ever changing weather so we saw the absolute best of this spectacular island. Can't recommend strongly enough!
