A Local’s Guide to Disappearing Trades - We had a wonderful tour with Kenneth. He was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the various disappearing trades we visited. We got to try some unique snacks that we probably would not have discovered on our own. Highly recommend this tour!

Very authentic experience with hilarious and engaging guide - This was for us a very enjoyable tour. Our guide, Boon was very engaging - he shared lots of interesting anecdotes, little stories and fun facts without being overwhelming. Personally, I loved his dry sense of humour and very gentle demeanor. He was also very clear and communicative as to what to do when we reached the stops. For the Kopi & Loti tour, we went to three places on coach: a traditional coffee roaster, Chinatown Complex to see different snack sellers and a traditional bread bakery. All of them featured experienced owners who were passionate about their various trades, and it was inspiring to share that space and watch them in action. The tour itself was also extremely well-organized. There was never a slow moment - from the get-go, we were provided with audio sets so we could hear Boon all the way. At every stop, we were serenaded with free samples, which were all very tasty (especially the pig ear biscuits, which are youtiao in biscuit form + the traditional bread). Our orders were also taken on the coach and served out in a timely manner when we reached Chinatown Complex. All in all, my girlfriend and I deeply enjoyed the trip, the guide and the free samples! Would recommend for those who love food and learning abit about Singapore history too.

Fun local tour - Our guide Helen is very knowledgeable and she made the tour fun by engaging us in a coffee lingo quiz. I also liked that we started the tour with a local breakfast with bread and coffee from the places that we were about to visit.
