We commence our hike from an altitude of 1800, eventually reaching the final altitude of 2500 at the last lake, known as the ‘Tear’. From this vantage point, we can view all seven lakes!
The experience includes a hike into Rila National Park to witness the pristine, clear lakes.
Many of these lakes are glacial and each gets their name based on its shape.
After the hike, we’ll unwind in a thermal mineral spring, offering comfort to the body. We’ll also get to witness the only natural geyser in Bulgaria.
Before returning to Sofia, we’ll take a brief walk to the tallest waterfall in the area, followed by a visit to the Resilovo Monastery.
