- The Grand Palace - The glittering Grand Palace in Bangkok is an architectural wonder that was once home to the kings of the Chakri Dynasty. \n\nThe palace was built in 1782 by the Rama I, the first king of the Chakri Dynasty, when he moved the capital of what was then known as the Kingdom of Siam from Thonburi on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River to Bangkok on the east bank. For 150 years the palace was the home of the Thai King.\n\nToday, the complex remains the spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom.\n\nNOTE 1:\nWe do not go inside the Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew, but only see it from the outside.\n\nNOTE 2:\nTime mentioned includes traveling time from one place to another.

Good overview of Bangkok - Great tour to get an overview of Bangkok especially at the start of the trip. I was very tired from travelling a long distance so I booked this tour in the evening on my first day. The guide was great. I was the only one so it ended up being private. She made sure I was hydrated and treated me to an ice cream on an extremely hot day. Highly recommend.

Amazing Tour - Siri was amazing! Such a great, knowledgeable tour guide and she made it easy to get to know the city. Loved seeing the flower market with a guide and getting to know small but important facts about the city.

Siri was great - Siri was a wonderful tour guide! I booked this experience last minute and ended up having a private tour. Well worth the money and time. It was nice to see Bangkok at night and plan out my day for tomorrow. Siri is knowledgeable and told me the history of each stop. She also took great photos and gave me recommendations for places to eat and things to see for the rest of my trip. This was well worth the money and I felt safe and comfortable during the whole time. Thanks Siri!

Siri the guide made it fun - Siri or guide was great. Communication was good and drivers friendly. It was perfect with our teenage daughter who would have complained if we tried to see these sites on our own. Siri made it fun for her. You only het a brief visit at each place but for us it was perfect as we had a little taster of everything.
