• Moab Fault Overlook - Moab’s Fault is a six million-year-old crack in the earth’s crust. As we continue driving, we’ll observe this fault and discover the geologic forces that shaped the landscape of Arches.
• La Sal Mountains Viewpoint - The La Sal Mountains are the second-highest mountain range in Utah. Their tallest peak, visible toward the center of the range, reaches nearly 13,000 feet. We’ll pause our drive through Arches to admire the mountains and learn about the Spanish settlers who displaced the Ute and Paiute tribes.
• Three Gossips - As we drive further through Arches, we’ll pass the iconic Three Gossips formation.
• Courthouse Towers Viewpoint And Trailhead - This brings us to another viewpoint, where we’ll see the Organ, Courthouse, Sheep Rock, and more.
• Petrified Dunes Viewpoint - We’ll also pass the Petrified Dunes and Great Wall. As we drive, we’ll delve into the Ute and Paiute mythologies of this harsh and alien landscape.
• The Great Wall - This is a large wall located to the left just past the Courthouse Wash Bridge. … trail/wash that heads NW towards big blocks leaning against the wall.
• Balanced Rock Trail - Balanced Rock is one of the park’s most iconic attractions, and for good reason. It appears as if a massive boulder is precariously balanced on a thin spindle. Is it held together by concrete? Nope - it’s entirely natural and consists of a single rock.
• Garden of Eden - The Garden of Eden is situated in Arches National Park near Moab, Utah. With no designated trails, it serves as an open hiking area where visitors can explore its various fins and geological structures, including Serpentine Arch and Owl Rock.
• The Windows Road - The Windows Trail starts at the end of The Windows Road in Arches National Park.

• Wolfe Ranch - The Wolfe Ranch, also known as Turnbow Cabin, is located in Arches National Park near Moab, Utah. John Wesley Wolfe settled here in 1898 with his oldest son Fred. A persistent leg injury from the Civil War prompted Wolfe to move west from Ohio in search of a drier climate.
• Salt Valley Road - This is one of the park’s quieter attractions. Like Cache Valley, Salt Valley was formed by the collapse of numerous sandstone domes. The broken pieces of rock scattered on the ground are remnants of that collapse.
• Sand Dune Arch - As we drive and explore more arches, we’ll learn about the Paiute myths behind them, the Spanish and Mormon settlers who tried to survive in this land, and the efforts to preserve this stunning landscape as a national park.
