Highlights
- Little Buck Island - Visit Little Buck Island, off St. Thomas, a National Wildlife Refuge where you’ll get to swim with the resident Green Sea Turtles at Turtle Cove. You will also have the opportunity to snorkel a reef with tropical fish.
Snorkeling Equipment: Your friendly crew will provide: snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, snorkel vest), brief instruction and safety tips and if needed, a beginner’s snorkeling lesson.
Open Bar with alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and Light Snacks will be offered AFTER all in-water activities.
- Honeymoon Beach - And then sail to Honeymoon Beach, Water Island, off St. Thomas, where you can purchase lunch from one of two local vendors or you’re welcome to bring your own lunch aboard! This is a beach stop where you can relax on the beach or wade in the calm waters.

Additional Information
- Must arrive 30 minutes prior to departure. Check-in with Cat Crew on Dock of Marriott’s Frenchman’s Cove. We cannot accommodate late-comers.
- Use Google Maps. Type “The VI Cat” or “Marriott’s Frenchman’s Cove”. 1. Pull into the Marriott Frenchman’s Cove (the property with all of the colorful buildings). The Marriott Cove has a large stone/brick entrance. 2. Check in with the security guard at the security booth. He will ask that you park in the large, flat gravel parking lot on the right after the security booth. 3. After parking, walk down the hill, on the road, towards the pool and follow signs that say public beach access. 4. Look for the wooden dock located off of the beach. 5. You will check in with The VI Cat crew on the wooden dock approximately 30 minutes prior to departure.
- The VI Cat’s Standard Cancellation Policy: To receive a full refund, customers may cancel up to 24 hours before the excursion start date in the local timezone. No refunds will be given after that time period. “No-Shows” will be charged the full price of the excursion. In the event The VI Cat cancels the excursion due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, customers may receive a full refund or rebooking. NOTE! If you miss your tour, a $25 rebooking fee will be added
- Note that the Marriott’s Frenchman’s Cove is the time-share portion of the Marriott. This location is different than The Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman’s Reef
- All tours are listed in local time - Atlantic Standard Time Zone (PLEASE NOTE THIS MAY BE DIFFERENT THAN YOUR SHIP TIME)
- Be sure to mention any allergies or medical conditions to the Captain
- The Marriott’s Frenchman’s Cove is 7-10 minute taxi ride from the WICO cruise ship dock and 20-30 minute taxi ride from the Crown Bay cruise ship dock
- At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
- Children MUST be accompanied by an adult • Minimum drinking age is 21 years
- Wheelchair accessibility is best fitted for travel/non-motorized wheelchairs. If guest or vessel’s Master determines safety issue, a full refund will be given.
- Open bar will begin after all in-water activities have commenced
- MUST arrive 30 minutes prior to trip departure time. We cannot accommodate late arrivals.
- Any guests with medical concerns (including pregnant travelers) are encouraged to address them with their own medical professional prior to attending excursion.
- Facial coverings are optional while onboard.

Great Snorkeling! - We had a great time with you guys swimming with the fishes and the turtles. It was great to not only be able to see the reef and fish but to also be educated about what exactly we were looking at by our guide. The turtles did come in and we had a great experience watching them swim around us. As a bonus, Mr. Barracuda came along for his cameo and gave us a show!
Our trip, of course, was not complete without a trip over to Honeymoon Beach where I had a fantastic Cuban sandwich. In fact, there wasn't anything there that didn't taste extremely good. As a tip, keep your snorkeling equipment as there are turtles in the grassy areas of Honeymoon Beach as well!
As another tip VI Cat, please remind people of your shirts for sale. We will wear them proudly here in NC! Thanks for a great trip!

Take Home A Great Memory - What a great day! This is the second time my wife and I have done this trip. Luckily, the trip was not crowded, and we had a wonderful time. The crew is so friendly. Top notch for safety and hospitality. Our snorkeling at Buck Island was great. Turtles, beautiful fish, a barracuda, and the luster of clear calm water. Water Island for lunch is a tropical "shoes off" treat, that Mr. J. Buffet would have approved of highly.
Great fun, a relaxing sail, and if you like to snorkel, it's mighty fine.
Take home a great memory and do this trip. It's well worth it.

Perfect way to spend the day! - What a fun day! The crew (Isaac, Serena, and Nick) were so friendly and made the trip really fun. The snorkeling was great and the beach excursion was awesome! We had a great time!

Best experience ever! - The views were amazing! Saw so many different types of wildlife and sea turtles. The crew is amazing, so kind and knowledgeable especially when giving tours in the cove!

Fun day at sea!! - Captain Serena and her crew, Isaac, Anders and Tim were all very knowledgeable and friendly! They were fun to be around and made sure all of their passengers were having a great time! 10/10 recommend this experience!

What an experience! - What an experience!!! The boat is beautiful and the crew is amazing. Captain Serena was fantastic and even skillfully navigated us to rescue a lost hat! Issac made sure every guest knew the expectations for a safe trip and made sure to check in throughout. Tim was a great tour guide and led our group to 3 sea turtles and 2 string rays!! Anders was a great bartender and seemed to be ready to help with anything. They made lunch at a busy location easy by taking orders ahead of time. Overall an absolutely amazing trip! I will be booking again the next time I am in St. Thomas!

Amazing!! - Trip was amazing! Went on the snorkeling to the turtle spot and did the sunset boat trip and both were must do’s!! All the crew with Anders, Tim, and Isaac were great and made the trip awesome. Definitely a must do if visiting St. Thomas!!!
