Also, here you will be introduced with major happenings during World War II in Split and Yugoslavia in general which lead to the birth of the new communist state. You will be shown some pictures of damage made in Split during the War.

The Communist Tour of Split is a specially tailored small group tour that accommodates a maximum of 8 people, led by an experienced local historian and a university-educated history teacher.
On this intriguing tour, I will introduce you to the communist-era history of Split, a city that once stood as a hub of politics, industry, economy, and tourism. As a rapidly expanding city during the communist period of Yugoslavia, Split hosted numerous influential world leaders, including Yuogslav leader Tito, who visited over 40 times. The city is rich in stories, facts, and legends about this era, which I am excited to share with you.
Naturally, these tales will be accompanied by a viewing of significant sites and lesser-known treasures that bear testimony to Split’s communist history.
