Highlights
- The Green Trails - We start off with a short introduction about the archipelago kayak day’s program. A 45 minute drive by air-conditioned minivan will take you away from the city and into the archipelago.
We start off with some sea kayaking instructions and safety precautions. Shortly after we’re out in the Baltic Sea! We’ll paddle through both small island groups and crossing open sea. The present birdlife is very rich, and swans, eagles and many other birds are seen on basically every trip. We’ll pick out our own island and enjoy restaurant prepared, organic lunch.
From bird colonies to ancient fortresses, there are many sights to visit along the way. Maybe we decide to enjoy some ‘fika’ on the way, roping all kayaks together.
Upon return we briefly conclude the day and your guide will bring you back to the meeting point safely.

Fun day excursion from downtown Stockholm - We had an extra day in Stockholm and decided to check out the Stockholm Archipelago. It was a great day and very laid back trip. The equipment was in good shape and easy to use. The paddling was easy for anyone in relatively good shape. It was just fun to paddle around the islands and see the quaint Swedish cabins. I had no idea before this that Sweden had so many islands nor how many Swedes own boats. I always pictured forest and Lapland before visiting Sweden. So, this tour gave me a better perspective of what southern Sweden is really like. It was beautiful and fun.

Incredible trip. - Amazing experience and a really good way of seeing the archipelago and feeling close to nature. It was so beautiful and peaceful.
Kristina and Leith were great guides. Their enthusiasm for paddling was infectious and my paddling improved immensely by the end of the trip.
I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone wanting to spend time discovering the archipelago in a unique way.

Fun day excursion from downtown Stockholm - We had a fun, casual day paddling with Titouan, our guide. We chose a tandem kayak which made the effort less and the trip more enjoyable. The tandem kayaks are more stable, too. The islands are quaint with lots of cute little huts and houses. We had a lot of fun, great weather and some tasty treats with lunch and a dessert afterward.

Amazing experience. It felt like I was out with friends enjoying a beautiful archipelago. - The archipelago of Sweden is gorgeous. Magnificently breathtaking. The kayaking tour was great the instructor and Tour Guide, Jasper got me ready to be in the water.
Jasper, the tour guide was awesome. He was great, I felt like I was out with friends. My circumstances were different because I was the only person on the tour and there were two other tour guides in training.
They were true nature enthusiast, and it showed. They educated me they took their time.
It is a MUST DO!

The best way to explore the archipelago - This was a beautiful tour of the archipelago with an excellent guide. Jasper tailored the trip and our discussions to the group's specific interests and taught me so much about the natural world of the archipelago as well as Sweden in general. He also did a great job preparing customized meals for a variety of unique dietary needs in my group. While I enjoyed this trip as an experienced paddler, I would also recommend for people new to kayaking. The next time I am in Stockholm I will strongly consider doing a multi-day tour.

Great kayak trip to wrap up our Stockholm visit. - We visited the first week of April. Not super cold, but also not terribly warm either. Thankfully Jasper, our intrepid guide, had us prepared with all the necessary gear. The kayak trip was peaceful and idyllic. Our family always enjoy our time in nature, but the key to a really great trip is your guide. Jasper was talkative, friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. He felt like part of the family. What a great way to get outside the city and enjoy the beauty of the archipelago. It was a great conclusion to our week-long stay in Stockholm. As a bonus, Jasper recommended the Gamla Stan restaurant where we had out best meal of the trip. Thanks Jasper and thanks Green Trails. We hope to visit again in the future!

Great kayaking trip - Thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Stockholm archipelago. Jasper was a great tour guide - he was very knowledgeable, friendly and we didn’t feel rushed at any point on the tour. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Stockholm.
