This is a quintessential biking journey in the fjord region, where we cycle through the municipality of Hellesylt, passing serene lakes, waterfalls, and historic mountain farms.
The bike trip is technically straightforward as we follow an old mountain road from Hellesylt near the Geirangerfjord to Oppstryn in Stryn. The one-way trip covers approximately 20 km, reaching a peak of around 550 meters above sea level, and takes about 2 hours before we turn back, totaling around 4.5 hours. With our powerful e-bikes, you’ll feel like you’re soaring up the mountain during the climbs.
This bike trip pairs nicely with a visit to Geiranger, as a scenic ferry ride connects Hellesylt and Geiranger.
