Strassbourg, a fascinating town presented by Davide - Davide‘s comprehensive knowledge of Strassbourg, coupled with his lively and engaging personality was a wonderful experience. He expertly covered defining points of Strassbourg history with humour, including the character of the German, French and Roman emperors, their ambition, power, quirks, constructive and destructive tendencies. Designing and rebuilding the city into the modern version of today, it‘s UNESCO status, the layout, etc. were most interesting. We also learned much about the importance of the economy, river trade, university, European Parliament, geography, dining, culture, Christmas markets and architecture. The pace was leisurely, and we did not feel overwhelmed. Overall , it was enjoyable, and so we confidently recommend the 2- hour walking tour with Davide!
