Fun, hands on experience - Great cooking class! Maia and Nina clearly explained how to cook the dishes. They had prepared a few bits and pieces (eg dough, because it needed to rest for a few hours) but otherwise it was a really hands on class. It was not just a cooking demonstration. They sequenced the class so we were always making something, while another dish was cooking. The food was delicious and they are very friendly. I would recommend this class!

Friendly environment and unforgettable experience - We had an amazing experience with Nina, who is a very experienced and sweet teacher. We prepared the main menu and, thanks to her, it was one of the best meal we had in Georgia! She also shared her recipes and certificates of best kinkhali makers :) It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Highly recommended to get a taste of real Georgian culture.

You know you want to try this! - One of the best experiences on our first trip to Georgia, and such a great idea for getting to understand Georgian food and culture - by cooking it with those who know the best. We met with Nina and Maia at their apartment, and they took us straight into the kitchen, where we dove straight in to the shkmeruli recipe, then followed up with mchadi and finally, a full hands-on prep for khinkali. They are wonderful to chat with, so patient and personable, and we soaked up their know-how like a sponge. While we ate the proceeds, we learned a ton about Georgia, chatting about local history and events, even where to find blue fenugreek and saffron powder in the shops in the area. Highly recommended if you want a unique Georgian experience off the beaten path!

A wonderful evening! They are the best! - What an amazing experience in Tbilisi! We did the cooking class on our first night in Georgia and were so glad we did, as we learned a lot about traditional Georgian dishes. We were met outside their apartment building and brought up to their cozy apartment, where we proceeded to learn to make a number of delicious Georgian dishes. It was the perfect amount of hands on cooking and prep work, while some ingredients were already pre-prepped for us. The food was so delicious and we even got to have some homemade wine with our dinner. The best part was talking with Maia, Nina and their incredibly smart son/grandson over dinner. We learned so much about life in Georgia and were so thankful for the insight we received. We even received a extremely well produced cookbook with the recipes for what we cooked, along with recipes for other Georgian dishes. You will not regret this class! It was such a memorable experience!

A great evening - My sister and I really enjoyed this experience when we visited Tblisi. We did it shortly after arriving in Tblisi and it was a great introduction to some of the food we would be enjoying during our visit. The class inspired me! I bought lots of spices before leaving Georgia and also a ketsi for making mushrooms.

Lovely and delicious cooking class - The cooking class with Maia and Nina is amazing. Once arrived at their home, they will show you the best of the Georgian cuisine. We made Khinkali, Khachapuri and eggplant rolls with walnuts ourself. Every step is well described and making your own Khinkali is fun with them! When ready, they serve it for you with Georgian wine and bread in their living room. Also, we learned a lot from Nina about Georgia while talking during the dinner. In sum, we spent 3 lovely hours at their home and could take away the leftover food for the next day. We would absolutely recommend this class, also beccause it tastes as good as restaurant meals!
